I wake up angry everyday that I’m not a lesbian. I’m sorry if that’s ignorant to say, I don’t mean to offend our lesbian sisters. But after I broke up with my last boyfriend, I lost all hope that there are good men out there because he turned on me out of nowhere after 2 years. I find women attractive but I’m not attracted to them, instead I’m stuck being attracted to men and all of their horribleness.

Well, I took a the Kindey scale test, and I don’t remember the number I got but it said I was bi-sexual.

For me it always irritated me that just because I found all men around me unsuitable and thus I never developed any crushes or relationships with any men so far, I HAD to be a lesbian, or my sexuality was put into question.

There's no issue with being gay, mind you, the problem is that the people who asked me if I was a lesbian, asked me that question with the context that something was wrong or abnormal with me. Most of the time, that's the context they come from, regardless of whether they ask maliciously or not.

It's really fucked up, because it has the insinuation, for women, that we're not "normal" if we don't have a relationship with a man, so we must be lesbians??? With the implication that lesbians are abnormal??? No matter how you look at it, it's an incredible insult to both hetero and gay women.

I'm a hetero woman and I'm attracted to handsome men, and those handsome men HAVE to have beautiful souls too. I don't give a shit how attractive Henry Cavill is physically, if he's LV from the inside (and he is).

I was considering other women at some point. I’d given up on men after several scrotes took me for granted and caused me grief and pain as they are wont to do. Oddly enough the man I’m with now is kind of effeminate and declares himself half woman. In some ways he seems gay but he’s totally not at all. I wish more men were this way so my sisters could experience this bliss. He does my nails even! It’s like having a gay best friend and a sexy lover in one. I’m so over toxic masculinity. God forbid he dies before me but if so I’ll never date men again I don’t think. I do love the D but not what it comes with. Women are way cooler and generally a lot less dangerous. There are lovely guys out there but way too hard to find, it’s exhausting.

I recently had this thought as well. I don't find straight men to be funny or particularly interesting. I'm more emotionally attracted to women. But physically attracted to men. But I'm also grossed out by most men--they're smelly and have hair in places I didn't know you could have hair.

I want to be attracted to not men. I'm demisexual and never had the chance to develop any feelings for anyone other than a man. Mostly because men are persistent and they've always been sniffing around. So that's what I've ended up with. Once this lockdown ends I want to try to get to know some women and non binary people to see if I could date them. Because otherwise I refuse to date men again and I will be alone rather than with a man
