I discovered FDS at the end of 2019 when I googled the characteristics of my psycho (love bombing) and discovered FDS but it wasn't until the summer of 2020 that I really spent a lot of time here and read and re-read the handbook to let it sink in.

I'm ready to give dating a chance with FDS principles. Few things I'm implementing from my previous experience:

-I don't save a guy's number. If he wants to reach out he can.

-If we started to chat and he disappears, without any warning, he's blocked: it can be not saying goodnight and just leaving you hanging, or not texting for more than two days. A LOT OF GUYS act that way and I find it utterly disrespectful. Of course if it's the very beginning it's different....which leads me to the third point.

-If he interrupts a pattern without any good reason he's blocked (he texts you every other day and then silence radio for 4 days without warning? block)

-If I start wondering wether he's seeing other women, it's the beginning of the end...of course at the beginning of dating we're all seeing other people but the person you're with should make you feel like you're the only woman in the world, no phone checking or weird behaviors in your presence.

-If he deflects. The last guy I was seeing was a master deflector! Again this is incredibly disrespectful...it communicates you're not heard and taken seriously.

Any other "little" thing which don't abode well?

ps: I'm not mentioning the more obvious things, such as negging, love bombing, inviting you for a first date to his place (the pandemic has been a saving grace for cheap scrotes), flaking or cancelling plans last minute...
