Some men who claim to want "submissive women" also expect those women to work full time/be primary wage earners, be the primary social organizers, be the primary healthcare advocates, be the ones to take the car to the shop, etc.. It just depends on their mood and what they want at any given moment. They also expect women to read their minds as well.

They end up resenting the submissive woman. They only want submissive when it comes to listening to them and letting them have their way, especially sexually. They don't really want to take care of women in the traditional sense. There was a study where men weren't comfortable being the sole breadwinners but they also weren't comfortable when the woman was the sole breadwinner. They were happier when financially they took care of only 60% but I'm sure they didn't even want to do 40% of the other work it takes to run a household or raise a family.

We're not cave dwellers anymore, but men don't seem to have the capacity to grow with the times.

Yesss. This was my ex. The first time I met his parents, his dad pulled out a bible and asked me if I was prepared to submit to his son. I was 22. I said yes and really thought I had to prove myself to be worthy. DISASTER obviously lol. He controlled EVERYTHING about me and in our lives (he was also a fucking idiot but I had to submit to al his decisions), destroyed my credit and I had to go bankrupt, after five years with him— I was a shell of a person. I did leave though after finally saying fuckkkkk this mess. Overall 0/10 do not recommend lol

I think only insecure men say that. Confident men do not need a woman to "submit" to feel strong. Saying "I want a submissive woman" is code for "I want a mother I can have sex with". You can't question him, you have to clean up after him, cook for him, fulfil his sexual desires etc. And so many of these guys cheat anyway because they have 0 respect for their "submissive" girlfriend/wife. They want women to manipulate - women with low self-esteem and women who aren't financially independent.

And none of these so-called traditional men want to be actual providers or protectors. It's a sham.
