This sounds cute at first but this child is still a child, he shouldn’t even be worrying about giving away earnings to his mother, so she can feel like a good parent. So many other ways to teach him to respect women.

I think part of this is ok, like many men have no clue how a date should be and how to act on one. But the mom shouldn't force her kid to pay, he can give a tip. It should be like having a teaparty, where you pretend to be fancy and practice manners but it's still fun.

I'm a girl, but when I was a kid I took my mom out for mothers day. I got her (fake) flowers and we went to taco bell. All for like the 7 ish dollars I had to spend. We had a really good time and she had that flower for years until it rotted. It was good parent child time.
