Listen very carefully ladies....this is ALWAYS the case. If a man is with you when he is a loser in life he considers you just as low value as he is. It doesn't matter how much you have your shit together he will see you as someone on the same level that he is on, otherwise why would you be with his pathetic loser ass in the first place? He will not be grateful and he will not be loyal, he will use you as much as you will let him and once he levels up on your effort and your dime he will go out and find a woman that he considers worthy of his new higher status. He will unceremoniously dump you like a hot mess in 2.5 seconds as soon as he finds someone better.

This is male hypergamy. Men call women hypergamous all the time but women have only recently been able to exercise their hypergamy, men have always been hypergamous, they have always traded up and always will if they can. It's the classic "second hot young wife" trope. Be the one he trades up for, not the one he settles for until he gets his shit together and thinks he can do better.

Never ever ever invest in a man. Never look at a man like a project. What you see is what you get, if he hasn't leveled up to your status, leave him in the gutter by the trash bins where you found him.

There is a movie called "the Fisher King" that shows this dynamic perfectly. Only in the end they lie and show Jeff Bridges character realizing his mistake and getting back together with his long suffering gf. Dont fall for it, they do not come back. In the real life version of that movie he would never have gone back to her, he saw her as low value and will always see her as low value.

I would say it's good homework for pickmeishas to watch that movie as long as they dont get sucked in by the bullshit Hollywood fantasy ending. Picture her left alone, old and used up crying over him while he moves on with a new "better" woman and never thinks of her again...thats the reality.
