Good comments so far but what I want to know is she says they contribute 50/50 to the bills but do they make the same amount of money? Because I would bet a dollar to a bag of donuts that she makes less than him, so percentage-wise she's contributing a higher percent of her salary to the household expenses.

I think there are a lot of things that he loves about her, but I don't think he loves her.

This is a good example of why we don’t give wife benefits to boyfriends. She also took on a mother role/nanny to soon. This isn’t a relationship, he shuts down because he doesn’t want to loose all these benefits. Oh man he is using her good. Someone needs to show her the light.

This is why I won’t live with a man again prior to engagement or marriage. I’m not going to have wife-like expectations thrust upon me by a boyfriend.
