I saw a Tiktok about things men do and say while "flirting" that makes women uncomfortable, like asking where she lives, if she lives alone, or stopping her at night to ask if she has a boyfriend, ect..

A lot of women commented about more scary experiences they had with these men, and almost every woman would start her comment with "I don't think men realize how terrifying it is to...". Something like :

" I don't think men realize how terrifying it is when they're angry. Anytime a man start raising his voice I'm instantly on edge and start to get scared".

I think women give too much credit to men. I think they KNOW how scary that is and they deliberately do it to intimidate you. Same as when they start asking questions about where you live, they do it without hesitation knowing that most women will be taken aback and answer for fear of seeming rude. Same as when they don't take No for an answer hoping that you will eventually feel uncomfortable enough to say yes.

Whenever a man tries to push your boundaries he know exactly how it makes you feel and what he's doing.

Now for some of us (me included) it might be hard at first to sit in your discomfort/fear and stick to your boundaries. What could help in this case is to take a moment before reacting.

If he asks you where you live and you're taken aback, take a moment to understand what just happened and prepare yourself for the LVM to be persistent. Then of course don't answer and remove yourself from that situation.

LVM banks on making you feel uncomfortable and scared, don't let them use it against you.
