Paying 50/50 isn’t “eQuALiTy” when women do 100% of the reproductive labor and most of the domestic and emotional labor.

Don’t let scrotes trick you into thinking that it’s equal. Unless they are going 50/50 on the housework, 50/50 on the child care, and 50/50 on carrying the emotional weight of the family, they can kick rocks!

It would work best for women if men just do more house work and child rearing, it is not that hard to udnerstand😂 Sure, you should do what works best, but the workload is still so unevenly distributed.

I remember I hated feminism when I was younger because of this. I thought "damn equality", if it wasn't for equality, I'd be a housewife, and I was puzzled why feminists wanted to work, in addition to childcare, housework etc. etc. The "wait a minute" moment came much much later. My mom works full time as a nurse but it's her who cooks, does the housework, paperwork, plan everything, makes appointments for everyone. When I ask her whyyy, her answer is that she likes to be busy.

I absolutely detest when people try to sweep this under the rug, saying something like "This does not need to be discussed as you should do what's best for you and your partner" since it's becoming a NORM for women to be a "superwoman" who works full-time, is the primary or sole care giver, takes care of the household and splits the bills.

This is timely because I must vent about something insane related to the fact that women handle basically the entire household and their full time jobs.

I don't get onto the asshole parts of reddit much anymore, but I did today and after having been on FDS for a while, something stuck out to me. Men use their wives and kids as a point of sympathy SO often. And I used to buy into it. The whole, "I have a wife and two kids and I work full time AND I'm working so hard to learn new X skill to better our lives." I used to buy that from men because when women say it, it's accurate. So I used to think "wow, you're working so hard for your family, I envy your motivation and time management skills." But reading it today, I just thought to myself HAHAHAHAHAHA. Like, your wife probably makes learning that new skill easier for you. She most likely handles the kids, the grocery shopping, the cooking and the cleaning. You're probably responsible for LESS with that whole family than you would be without it. Your ass probably goes to work and then comes back to hole up to "better yourself" while your wife is just stuck. The audacity never ends. And I'm not saying I know the specific circumstances of these relationships for sure, maybe it's actually balanced, but it's honestly the most likely scenario because we've all seen it time and time and time again.

Many gfs/wives are still their secretaries and event planners. Reminding them about their medications, appointments, what groceries are needed, etc.

So many tech guys (and I suspect men in other fields) scoff and say they can do all these things. They can't, at least on time or correctly.
