I know OLD isn’t popular around here, but some of us don’t really have much choice. To help sift out some of the timewasters a bit quicker, I’ve found that this strategy is very good. In your profile somewhere, include a line that says something like “in your message, please quote (insert word of your choosing)”. I normally include this at the very end, as this ensures that they have read all of my profile. Any guy who doesn’t include said word in a message is instantly dismissed. This won’t weed out all of the LVM, but it will help you weed out the men who have not read your profile (which is a LOT!) Men see OLD as a numbers game, and most just copy/paste the same message to hundreds of women. This will help you weed such messages out.
