“Given the difficulty of proving that a minor was forcibly or violently coerced, only about 1 percent of such cases result in convictions.” What proof do they fucking need? How the hell can a child give sexual consent to an adult? It’s always coercive by way of power imbalance. So in France they don’t allow citizens to vote or drive until they’re 18, but they also apparently think girls much younger than that are cognitively and emotionally able to give sexual consent to grown ass men? This poor girl was gangraped for years. I’m fucking livid.
