In my 28 year of living I have never seen a real life human do that, outside of movies. Men who must display their action their physical force on object screams abuse to me.

Now when I see it in shows I:m so repulsed. I used to think it was fine and now I just can't stomach it.

Also I've been listening to UK political podcasts and the incessant 'eeeeeehhhh yeeeeeeeey yeeeeeeey' and pounding in the background honestly drives me crazy. It makes it hard to hear the speaker, and I can't tell if I agree with them or not because the drone of support/disagreement makes it hard to focus. It's like the seagulls from finding Nemo 🤦‍♀️

*Sorry to the UK ladies, this is definitely an outside perspective and my country is no better, I'm just desensitized to it- same juice, just a different flavor

or who raise their voice

or who downright yell and shout

or start insulting you

or resort to physical violence

It’s a precursor to abuse and physical violence. Never, ever interact with a male who does this. When you see it, call it out as completely unacceptable because it’s a direct threat. If that fist could be hitting your face, it would.

That's scary when they did that. I don't like when men beat on their chest to prove a point. It's like they are reverting to back who they originated from. Of course when they hit something they want to hit you from what I learned from my last relationship which my foot was almost hit by a cement brick. It made a dent (crater) on the wooden floor.
