Very much agree ! Being single is always better then being in a mediocre relationship or a relationship where you aren’t loved. Why sell yourself so short and drain the happiness from your life only to appease societal norms?

I love this quote and I’ve actually been thinking about it from time to time recently as I delve into FDS principles! Though I did want to note that Pride and Prejudice was actually published during the Regency era (a sub-era of the Georgian era), although Jane Austen began writing it prior to the Regency era.
