That are like oversexed animals that just want to have sex, it doesn't matter to them who it is. It boosts their egos and makes them feel good about themselves. I mean, I have seen posts regarding inanimate objects that some of them have sex with, so I don't think they care about who the person is and what they look like. This grosses me out as I'm writing, but there truly are some that are this bad, yuck.

It's about ego. Their wife sees their flaws, expects him to be a decent human being with integrity and own up to it.

But, the man's ego is so fragile that he cannot take criticism, so he finds someone who will worship him and not have expectations. You know this narrative that women have been told all their lives, that it's a woman's responsibility to build up her man and make him feel great, powerful, blah blah?

My theory is maybe the woman isn't less attractive, but less powerful, less assertive, less demanding, hence less attractive. And by nature men are told to be assertive, so a woman more "masculine" would be more of a challenge therefore more attractive, a.k.a his wife who is more attractive compared to the other woman.

Men are beyond simple. New = muh dick gets harder. Even the hottest woman on earth will become "boring" to the LVM in her life, and he'll be out looking for any woman who pays attention to him. Utterly pathetic.

I remember watching a movie with Robert De Niro. A guy asked him why he was cheating on his wife. Short version he says he does things with the girlfriend that he can't do with his wife. He wanted blowjobs but didn't want them from his wife because "that's the mouth she kisses my children with". That line in a movie blew my mind.

Men are slaves to novelty and fantasy. Always thirsting for what they can't have, always tormented by "what if" scenarios and assuming the grass really is greener on the other side. They feel an incurable restlessness.

Men can, have, and will cheat on the most beautiful woman in the world. I remember a man telling me this line once:

"No matter how hot a woman is, there is a man in her life who is sick of her bullshit".

Really put the male psyche into perspective for me.

1) They don’t think of long term consequences to their actions.

2) If they have or want children, men want the best possible gene pool and care for the. offspring (so they seek an attractive, smart, nurturing mate). Side pieces don’t require any of these qualities.

3) They value ease of access and novelty over looks and character.
