I know we hear it all the time: Just ask him out! He’ll say yes.

But on FDS we say: DON’T you dare ask him out.

So, today on a date with a man (I haven’t been able to say yet what type of man he is, I’m still judging) we were talking about why some of our previous relationships didn’t work out. And he said that in the end he kept them at arm length and he wasn’t able to really feel much for them.

We’re continuing that conversation and at some point he tells me that I’m the first woman he ever pursued.

Which brings us back to the point that he couldn’t feel much for his previous girlfriends. Because he was pursued and not the other way round. He always thought he was in control of the way the relationships go.

But now he can’t help but pursue me and he never planned for this to happen but he will regret not asking me out.

Anyway end of story, men need to be the one that pursue. They say it themselves.
