Honestly though, this is what a man should be like. No ifs or buts.

If they don’t cheat or don’t cook and they suddenly do, it doesn’t make them special. It’s basic sense!

I feel as if a majority of guys are like this and think they are special just because they don’t cheat or etc.

People don’t applaud women for not cheating or treating men equally, but it’s okay for men? No, it’s common sense.

This. One of my married friends is excited about her husband. Literally one.
The rest all settled down with these flaccid chunky dudes who they're not attracted to and who they don't even seem to like very much. But they're non-violent and probably won't cheat, so that makes them marriage material. (Meanwhile, a woman has to be gorgeous, slim, curvy in the right places, charming, interesting, educated, and so on to even maybe be considered girlfriend material, to a forty year old, who's maybe ready for a girlfriend). It's so sad. Even if these guys contribute financially and in the house (which most don't), they're all so lifeless and boring. But they get a life partner and children because women are under such pressure to settle down, and the bar is so fucking low that the fact that they don't beat women makes these dudes a prize.
