It's honestly the same for all the relationship advice subs, its always "you deserve better". If the guy in the story has made the unfortunate decision to say something mean or to raise his voice it's basically all determined as "abuse" and there's never really any nuance nor are the men in these stories really considered like human beings at all.

Not only that but it is always the reason given as to "why nobody takes men's rights seriously". Just yesterday I was arguing with one of those and they are incapable of providing the answer why does occasional misogynistic comment mean the entire movement is bad but rampant misandry on twox and similar subs is defended with "women just sharing their experiences with men". Their proof of MRA subs being "full of men who hate women" was some stupid sexbot post that nobody even took seriously. Seriously, if you just reversed genders twox would be seen as one of the most hateful subs on the platform.

Because women get it both ways - they can simultaneously be "the future" and "RAWR power feminism women can be Navy SEALs" but also still be powerless victims who couldn't possibly hurt anyone (cuz man stronger!) and it's sexist not to get sick leave for PMS. We are simultaneously useless and have nothing to offer, yet we allegedly hold every lever of power.

The thing is that the female subs are just a bunch of women venting their frustrations. They don't mean anything they said in those subs. Plus they lack any real power to actually do what they talk about. The MRA subreddits on the other hand are dangerous places. Men hold all the power so they could harm women if they wanted too. /s

Yea I am pretty much paraphrasing how the discussions typically go when justifying the female centric subreddits.

I sometimes get the feeling that the likes of Andrew Tate (and in the past Roosh V and Julien Blanc) ON PURPOSE get a lot of publicity by feminists, while Warren Farrell, Cathy Young or Prim Reaper are ignored and kept silence about. As if they LOVE the fact that there are misogynistic anti-feminists and love to spread the news, scared shit that people would suspect there may also be more nuanced antifeminism or criticism of feminism.

Hateful sentiments are a natural reaction of people who have had overwhelming negative experiences with something. Such as women having misandrist view if they have had bad experiences with men. To me the fact that these views are tolerated in spaces that advocate for womens rights is one of the things that serves to discredit them.

I don't want to have the same thing happend to spaces that advocate for mens rights. Therefore things like generalizations of peoples personal negative experiences with women should be self-policed. We shouldn't give people who strive to discredit mens rights advocacy the ammunition to do so.

Ya, there is definitely a lot of bias and censorship in the female / left leaning sub reddits. Speaks volumes on the morality of women and the left. Anything that is perceived to be critical and or offensive is immediately removed. The people in these subs have zero counterargument. They exist in an echo chamber, forever oblivious to reality. Oh has society fallen.

There was an element of misandry in movies decades ago, but it tended to be in a context of good humor- a lot like “racist” or other tease humor that- because of delivery ultimately amounted only to repartee. The friendly side of “ball-busting” that doesn’t relinquish respect in the least.

That misandry has transitioned to hatred- actual ill will in no small way akin w the racial hatred during Jim Crow. Just substitute “black” for “man” in their rhetoric and it’s as grotesquely obvious. Civil Rights established (more or less) social equality, but didn’t remove the propensity of humanity for bigotry. And now it’s re-entrenched against men- particularly straight, white men, but generally some combo of those.

As stated by the OP, men aren’t looking to counter-introduce misogyny… no more than blacks in the Jim Crow era were generally looking to impose an anti-white version, especially because it was racist sociopathy that was enabling Jim Crow in the first place. But there’s no overt anti-male Jim Crow. (By a stretch it’s arguable, but, no, the law doesn’t push a hostile matriarchy any more than a patriarchy is a thing.) So as truly sociopathic and widespread as the misandry is, it doesn’t have the same bite or potential as during pre-Civil Rights times.

Instead it’s got all the marks of people (male and female misandrists) simply falling for divide-and-conquer tactics that are keeping people at each others’ throats rather than able to face absurd levels of economic disparity as the rich amass historic wealth inequality in a unified effort. Misandrists are literally just useful idiots of the rich. It’s not even remotely in their interests to cultivate that hate other than the ones who have heavy career income devoted to misandrist tendencies- typically in the arts and entertainment industry.

And most women on Reddit are far left, feminists, which tends to mean they're also less attracted to men and more into their own sex.

Then let me play devil's advocate, how much of this is our own gender's fault? i know that we have social and biological (even economic) biases in favour of women, but how much of this would be less tolerated if men, didn't even responded "fire with fire" as in mysandry with misogyny, but if men simply stoped engaging with women who shit talk men or said that they don't think its good to do that?

because I see a lot of guys apologizing for shit they didn't even do (or shit their ancestors did if anything), or pretending that if this isn't them or if they are different and "not like the other males" then that's fine, and I just cant stand that, we for sure have to advocate for change about how women see us but at which point does it start to being "policing" our own? and that is a genuine question cause I hate women saying that even men don't care about men rights but its kind of true in a lot of circles.
