I came across the following TikTok.

If you read the comments, it's really scary how deep rooted internalized misandry has become and how normalized it is as well.

IRL I just try to avoid these kinds of topics altogether because I'm not usually equipped to cleanly, simply and politely explain why the points raised there are misandric. I feel like most of my friends do the same.

It's like IRL, you're afraid to signal that you're right wing/misogynists/racist. But most anti-feminist messaging is very right wing misogynist (and some of it is racist). Because the sad reality of modern life is that most ideas seem to be issued and propagated through propaganda outfits and think tanks and those either follow a left wing feminist agenda, or a right wing religious fundamentalist, misogynistic and racist agenda.

Real liberal left leaning perspectives that are well supported but also simple enough to present in casual settings are impossible to come by.

I guess my point is, how do we fight the normalization of misandry (both internalized and externalized, if you read the comments, there are women saying that they don't want to listen to men because they scare her).
