To put it bluntly to keep it focused on women because its very profitable for the "non profits". They don't want to have the competition even though male issues get hardly any funding.

Well one thing is, the ones at top who are behind these DV organisations receive government funding to line their pockets. The following was a petition filed by Women's Aid in the UK.

The Government should recognise that domestic abuse is a gendered crime and women are the majority of victims and the vast majority of severe injury and domestic homicide victims, and require local authorities to fund specific domestic abuse services for women.

We're very concerned that a number of local authorities are commissioning services with a ‘gender neutral’ approach, which in practice is defunding women’s refuges and lifesaving violence against women services. Evidence shows that women experiencing domestic abuse need access to women-only support. We need action now, as government plans to separate domestic abuse from the Violence Against Women and Girls strategy could only serve to encourage more ‘gender neutral’ responses to domestic abuse.

Note that whilst organisations need to be gender neutral, women's shelters would still be separate. The government responded stating local authorities are to assign funds based on local statistics so nothing has changed.

The Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (https://www.legislation.gov.uk/nia/2021/2/contents) requires local authorities to assess, and commission appropriate support for domestic abuse victims and their children in safe accommodation to meet their needs. This includes funding specific domestic abuse services to meet the needs of women.

Because of female solipsism pure and simple. Sexual dimorphism makes men taller, larger and pound for pound stronger. We have lower thresholds for even recognizing pain.

Women understand how vulnerable they are around men. This feeling of vulnerability is so overpowering it warps their thoughts into thinking they are the primary victims of violence when they aren't except in a very small area called sex crimes.

It is arguably this mismatch that makes women generally less likely to be physically aggressive towards men, they couldn't get away with it.

This solipsism makes them self-centered to the point they can't see male suffering.

After this war in Ukraine, expect a lot of women leaving their men who were psychologically traumatized by their war experiences.

As a dude who grew up with a violent alcoholic mother who abused my father and myself, I can tell you that this gendering of violence destroys a part of my soul everytime it's talked about in the news or by politics.

Now that men longer have institutional power and no longer dominate families, feminist have to find some other reason to blame men and victimize women as a reason for the continuation of their movement. Hence the focus on rape and "femicide".

Because there wasn't really any revolution when it comes to gender roles but a redefinition.

Traditionaly society viewed women as victims, believed that women had to be protected. The modern society have the same views and believes but it only changed what the women are victim of and how they should be protected.
