Negotiating the modern corporate office environment is a survival SKILL. Especially for white males.

I had a 30 year career in a fortune 500 company. The first half of my career from 1985 to 2000 involved a huge amount of change and adjustment. We went from smoking in the office, having vendor calenders with bikini clad women pinned to our cube walls, beers after work in the company parking lots and keggers INSIDE the office to send off a co-worker who was leaving..... lewd jokes were common place and it was a male dominated space.

But that all changed and for many of us white guys it was a painful learning process. My HR file got pretty thick and I was involved in "positive discipline" three times. But most of us learned and adapted, we became survivors as the gynocracy took over. The last half of my career, 15 years from 2000 to 2015 I was never in trouble, my performance reviews were all "excellent". I had learned first hand just how dangerous female coworkers had become.

some simple basics:

Have no personal files or programs of any type on your work computer. Keep a thumb drive for personal files if you need to but never let it out of your sight. I did this because I spent the last half of my career learning about financial investment and needed my work computer for some of this (I had a lot of free time once I learned to game the corporate system).
get rid of any "joke" file folder you might have at work. Dont know if this is a thing anymore but used to be in any large corporation a great amount of jokes, cartoons, funny sarcastic off color stuff circulated around and most of us had a file folder we kept a collection of this in for laughs. Much too dangerous now to do this. Toss it or take it home.
leave door open or be in public spaces when you interact with female coworkers. Interacting with them is unavoidable in most jobs and you MUST keep up a facade of friendliness and politeness. It is not that hard to do.
always look busy and dont turn in work too early prior to deadlines. If you are busy and always make your deadlines with quality work your supervisors will be happy and it will be easier to get out of being "volunteered" for unpleasant tasks (like mentoring female new hires).
keep a bare minimum of personal things on your desk. Always keep a good amount of work nicely organized on your desk, it looks like you have a ton of work to do and are a good, productive worker.
angle your monitor so that it is hard for others to see. Bear in mind that in most large corporations internal security and IT log every website you peruse on the net. I dont think they actively look at it unless you trigger a banned website, it is mostly just ammunition for HR to use if they target you for some reason. But they wont bother you as long as you dont violate company regulations (like porn sites, believe it or not, some guys are still stupid enough to look at porn on a company computer). HOWEVER, the day is coming, or might already be here where sites such as r/MGTOW will be on the No-NO list.

A lot of shit has changed in the last 15 to 20 years. I'll provide an example.

This had to be around 2001-2002 or so, I don't remember exactly. At the company I used to work for, our cubicle spaces were an 8' x 8' square. We could rearrange within the space however we wanted to, and most of us did so. In any event, I had space against one of the cube walls for a visitor chair, which was against the wall, which yielded a brilliant idea.

I had a full-size silhouette target with a bunch of the head and center-of-mass all full of holes. As such, I used the cube wall magnets to hold the target against the cube wall such that it would perfectly line up with anyone sitting in the chair. Virtually all of my coworkers, and even the immediate management chain got a laugh out of it. I was much more active in target shooting than I am today, so I carried pretty much 24/7. Anyhow ...

This was all well and good until some sensitive asshole went and bitched to HR. About all that came of it was me coming in to find a quick note from the boss with the target rolled up neatly on my desk.

These days? My work space is sterile. The only true personal effects near my desk are pictures of my two sons. While my department is more or less conservative, you won't find any outward signs of it here.

My only issues are A. I do not have education beyond a HS diploma B. My resume is only fast food C. The pay and benefits are insanely good for the low cost of living where I am. As long as free schooling with the job. I feel I should just stick with it for the first 12 months after which I can transfer to another department. It is a multi-billion dollar facility and will be expanding to over twice the size in the next 3-5 years. Hard to come by an opportunity like this without an education!

Dude! At my desk you will find only company related materials, on the walls, work documents, and a calendar with no pictures. My computer desktop? Company logo. Screen saver/lock screen? Company's marketing images that do not contain people. Mobile devices? All on the default wallpapers and ringtones. Working from home but have a video chat for work? Plain white wall behind me, nothing else in the frame. At a company outing where casual attire is the standard, you guessed it, company issued t-shirt or polo. I can't recall the last time I had a meaningful personal non-work related conversation with a co-worker, outside of filler statements about sports or what I had for dinner. And at the moment I work with 99% men. But never can be to sure.

UPDATE (lul)

So today I was in the HR office and it was just me and the one HR guy, not the women who also work there. Turns out they have gotten around 40 (FORTY!) reports over the last week. I don't have actual numbers, but if it were half as much it would already be ridiculous.

I don't know what will happen next, but I have been assured not to worry about this particular report because it's null and "never happened". I tried to get info about who reported me and all the others but I could not get anything other than that it seems to be the same two people in every case (b/c handwritten but otherwise anonymous cards).

Now you don't want to jump to conclusions, but there's exactly two short haired (one red and pink, one wtfshinysilverwhite) female new hires in the marketing department.
