Nobody wants to date fat people, especially other fat people. When I used to do an insane amount of cardio and was in shape, I used to get hit on by a ton of fat chicks. Interesting thought. I don’t really know how things were back then but I feel like he was more about basic human rights and equality and things were still a little unbalanced to an extent. I’m sure he would have thought the shit going on now is utterly ridiculous (as it is) and this is not what he meant lol. He’s one of my favorite people, I got into him/them when I was 13. I never really learned how to sight read either. I also went to music school and they were super picky about it but in fairness it’s harder on guitar lol. Where did you go if you don’t mind me asking?
I started out at Berklee College of Music Freshman year and figured I would transfer to Arizona State University and minor in music and major in business since that would be a better back up plan since I pretty much dropped out my freshman year to play music for a year and record an album, made college take way longer since these business and tech classes were tougher than I thought but it’ll be worth it. You’re right, sight reading on guitar is so much more difficult than saxophone or piano, in fact, I’m better at site singing than reading music on guitar.
You’re right about Kurt Cobain, he was a legend but in a way, listening to those albums we really do live in a different time with girls now.
