/u/AndrewSZ11 I find it more infuriating that people are unwilling to help those truly in need. The problem is no one seems to give a shit if 80%+ of the homeless are men.

For every man at the very top there's 10 at the bottom living on the streets, locked away in jail, isolated in severe poverty from a rough divorce without access to shelters, WIC, ridden in child support, alimony payments etc

Yes men are at the top but 10 fold men are at the very bottom, treated as disposables.

/u/PlayMeWhile Women give birth to all the men in the world. They are most often the primary caregivers before the boys go to school. Then, once in school, all the boys are under the authority of teachers that are female far more often than not. At the local level, women rule the world.

Then, when you get to voting (which is main source of power in any modern country) - women have the advantage by 1st - outnumbering the men in most of populations and 2nd - actually being more active in social life and voting more often.

/u/IHaveALargePenis It's because of the wealth related to "white men" that's the problem. The western world (Australia, North America, Europe) doesn't have any more resources than say Asia, Africa or the Middle East. We were just better and luckier than the rest. Back when Europe was in the Stone Age the Middle East was the place to be and before that it was China/Egypt. Did these places rule the world back then? Probably not. Did people say some Egyptian Pharaoh or Chinese emperor ruled the world? Definitely. The vast majority of innovation has come out of the west and mostly because we didn't have dictatorships after we left monarchy behind.

The problem I have with the people who make these arguments are that these are the same people enjoying these luxuries brought to them by "white men". People outside of the western world are trying to get in. They see the opportunity, the luxury, the money, the lifestyles, etc and they want in. They don't complain about white men ruling the world, they just want to be a part of this white system. Some places like China are innovating and trying to bring up their own country to standard instead, and that's great.

Additionally I think they're pissed that there's not enough women in charge. Then again, I didn't see them complaining about how many women were in charge back when being in charge and being murdered went hand in hand.

/u/rapscallionx There is a difference between men being in charge and the people who are in charge are men. I'm a man and I have exactly the same amount of "power" other illegible voter be they man/woman black/white gay/straight tall/short. People in office are trying to pass legislation based on two criteria. 1) will this make me money? 2) will this get people off my back and possibly get me reelected? Neither of those have a place for male favoritism considering greed is amoral and (roughly) half of the voters are females. The patriarchy doesn't fit anywhere in the scheme of politics. In fact since so many men are brainwashed into female favoritism, that scheme actually favors women. Women have social domination, therefor have the majority control over the few issues the public has any influence on.
