This entire article is an egregious example of absolute oppression of men. It is beyond disgraceful that people like this are given a free pass in science. She should be put in jail, not given a degree.

The research should never have been allowed to pass defense, and whoever allowed it should be fired and prevented from ever participating in academia for life.

She believes that more women may want to go into computer science, like herself, if they have women in the industry to reflect on.

"I was afraid it would be hard to find friends and that there would just be a lot of nerdy guys," she says with a laugh.

‘I think a lot of women are afraid of not fitting into computer science and software. It's a shame, because different people contribute with different points of view, so diversity is important, "she says.

This person is a complete imbecile beyond comprehension who is gas-lighting humanity. The reason why women do not go into computer science is because it is a merit based field. In other subjects it has been widely demonstrated that women are given significantly higher grades than men for the same work simply for being born female. For women, being judged on their merits in a subject is a huge disadvantage.

STEM subjects make it more difficult for women use their catastrophic discrimination of men and obscene privilege than in other areas.

Yet this completely vile and disgusting excuse for a person is fucking trying to steal the valor of an oppressed minority who actually earned it, because it may discourage women?

Here's an idea, why don't we encourage women to pursue merit by not giving them a free pass and privilege on everything that we can possibly reason to.

I mean obviously the entire reason why men prefer subjects which depend less on human judgment of their performance is because they are favored, and have to work less hard than women. You see when someone is judged more favorably by society, like men, clearly they are more motivated to steer away from those favorable conditions. It's just basic female logic.

Mette Marie Kowalski has committed a profound and inexcusable crime against humanity with this publication. Her work amounts to criminal intellectual dishonesty. She needs to be made to stand trial at an international tribunal and given the harshest possible sentence available.

This research is a complete disgrace of the author, her supervisor, and the university. The conclusion that "computer science has a history of gender bias" favoring men has not only been demonstrated to be the opposite of findings in hundreds of studies, but does not even pass the basic logic test. The exact reason why computer science is favored by men is because it has less gender bias. Men who face near absolute life-long oppression through society, only find refuge in the field specifically due to its reduced bias, which still is in favor of women.

Everybody involved in rubber stamping this horrific hate research needs to be in prison.

A gent named Steven Pruitt is the single biggest contributor to Wikipedia with 4 million edits and 35,000 articles.

Women make up less than 14% of the contributors.

He has done his personal best to include articles about women on Wikipedia.

Ladies stop waiting around for a man to fix things and fix it yourselves. Women can type. Why can't they make their own articles if they are unhappy with the Wikipedia content? Last time I checked woman make up half the population. If they can't come up with enough female content how is that men's fault?

Wikipedia's articles can be created and edited by anyone. If there "aren't enough" articles about women according to her then I don't see why that is the fault of men.

Who even notices that there are more male biographies than female ones? Seriously, how many of you guys are just endlessly pouring through biographies on Wikipedia? We all take an interest in a few people, and then research those few people. Nobody even notices the total number of male biographies are more than the total number of female ones, let alone be psychologically impacted by it.

I would postulate that her Thesis topic was chosen specifically because it could be harmful to the careers of anyone that dared to question any aspect of it.

As other commenters have suggested, if Feminists truly believe that there is a lack of Wiki entries regarding notable Women, then research and write them.

There are Women, past and present, that have made valuable contributions to humankind that deserve to be acknowledged.

What the hell. History is male dominated. We do technically live in a patriarchy. You cant expect, in a world where there have been more famous men, to have equal representation. You cant change the past. There was sexism, inequality and descrimination in the past, anf that is represented in historical records, deal with it
