I am a divorced Dad of 4 (3 from 1st marriage and 1 step-son from my current wife) and I pay $1k a month to her and her new husband in support, neither whom work. I stuck with the 1st marriage until I caught her cheating, I was prepared to take the hit and be miserable to keep the family together but that was the last straw.

I have had the kids held from me, been lied to about what is going on in thier lives, and when it finally went to court she accused me of abuse and the courts put me on supervised visits for 3 months on her word alone.

I jumped through all the hoops and got a decent (not fair but considering the state of the family courts it was ok) custody order.

My new wife is wonderful, she works hard and is supporting and loving, she is an equal in every way in our marriage (financially, responsability wise, and emotionally) and i am very lucky to have her. We are struggling to survive due to 12k coming off the top of my yearly pay and it is taking its toll on our stress level.

Everytime I see the lies and mis-information spread in the name of "woman's rights" I get fucking angry. It reminds me how a cheating exwife tore my family apart and is now getting a grand a month for the priviledge of not letting me live with my kids and putting unfair stresses on my current household. How can I deal with this information and help the movement without being pissed off all the time? How do you guys do it?

TL;DR I want to help the MR movement but the attacks from the feminists make me angry all the time due to my experiences with the unfairness of the system.

EDIT: Most of you (the legit replies anyways) are spot on. I do try and not let my frustration turn into an anger that will eat up my soul (and it will). Getting involved more does help and I am trying to do that more :-)

I know that it is all just a big mental game but I am just getting tired of being shat upon (not just in this area but others too, those are for different subreddits though lol). You are brought up being told that if you try your best, work hard, and do the right thing then you will lead a good happy life. Well after doing the right thing for about 12 years now it seems that I am working much much harder for much much less payoff............

I need to start counting my blessings every day, my new wife has pretty much healed all the damage to my opinion of women and is a wonderful partner in life, I get my kids every other weekend and every Tuesday overnight and they are little lights for my heart.... their hugs are magical, I have a good job and even though I do not see all my money I could be making less and see much less take home pay, I have a few musical groups and make extra money on the side gigging weekly which helps. I guess it is mostly perspective....thanks all!!!!

And for what it is worth to all the trolls, I do not hate all women, I think that some women get a shit hand dealt to them by men and that is wrong, I hate those men. This does not however negate the fact that many men get dealt a shit hand by women as well, I hate those women. To not judge people as individuals but as a "gender" "race" "religion" or "sexual orientation" is bigotry, plain and simple.
