How is menslib qualified as addressing men's issues?

Basically their motto is that they claim to help men but it doesn't come from a place of genuine care for the men, but for the women.

Of course, if it helped just men they would feel it was taking away help from women. If women aren't benefiting somehow, they're not interested in helping men.

I've literally asked multiple feminists that, if it's about equality, what does it do for the inequalities men face? An they routinely say things like "It's about taking from men to help women"

If you wanted to help men, what would that look like? Probably something like this:

Listening to men explain their issues without judgement
Allowing men to figure out their own solutions to their problems
Supporting men's efforts to solve their problems

Not a lot of that happening in feminist circles.

Menslib is a hilarious façade, its nothing to do with mens health and everything to do with the male side of everything within female matters, everything is to do with women in some way or feminism. Its fucking gross you can't even talk properly about just men on their own without slanting it towards patriarchy or just women in general.

They can't take a single instance of criticism on it either. They aren't for equality at all, they take every chance to shit on men that they can and try and frame it as constructive. Its the dumbest shit I've ever seen.

They’re feminists. It’s as simple as that. Whether it’s just male feminists or real female feminists are behind the sub (they’re certainly behind the ideology) is another matter.

The aim is to divert any male disgruntlement in the direction that feminists deem acceptable. So no complaints about affirmative action and quotas, and certainly none about how these only ever go in one direction. No discussion about education unless it approves feminist doctrine on this issue. And the only discussion about divorce and custody issues is to be that men need to do more “housework” and “child rearing” and that this is the “solution” to any male concerns in the issue: basically it’s our fault.

Overall it’s how wonderful feminism is. How men need to always defer to all women. And that the only valid areas of discussion are the ones feminist women have identified; and the solutions come from the self same feminist women, and always involve more feminism. You see once feminists deal with the big issues, like female CEOs, unlimited abortion, all roles being majority women (except things men are suited for, like garbage collection, sewer cleaning and linesmen), “mansplaining”, “manspreading” etc, feminism will then swoop down and solve men’s issues to. They’ll all automatically fall into place you see. And if they don’t, well patriarchy will be to blame.

Seriously if these guys want to be househusbands good luck to them. The problem is that few women, least of all feminist women apparently want one. They want a man who will earn at least as much as they do, or have massive “cool” vibes (househusbands aren’t “cool”). The household chores and childcare come on top of that. So they’d better have this “kickarse career” to get to square one.

No, they don't genuinely think that. They are, in fact, being very disingenuous. They want the idea of 'men's issues' itself to go away. They believe "showing emotions" is a feminine weakness and they want any men on the path to seriously considering* men's issues to adopt it to the same effeminating, weakening effect. They want men to hamstring themselves so they can't effectively push for their rights. In short, they promote "showing emotions" as a red herring to distract people from actually fighting for men's rights.

As pathetic white knights they also want to promote an alternative avenue to attract women and feminists encourage this thinking while laughing behind their backs:

"Nah girl, being fit, tall, handsome, rich, and confident is for neanderthals. What modern women really want is a weeping, damaged, pseudo-intellectual mess who will regurgitate their own buzzwords back at them in a blatant attempt to trick them out of their clothes."

Yeah don’t be mistaken MensLib is a feminist sub disguised as a MRA sub. Not sure if you noticed but MensLib is super policed by the mods and every post is screened so not much is posted. I’ve seen people implying male suicide is lesser than female suicide in the comments of that sub before.

Feminists who’s say “men don’t show their emotions more because of toxic masculinity” are usually hypocrites because when a man does share his emotions with his girlfriend or wife, they talk about women doing unpaid emotional labor. Funny you never hear them talk about men doing unpaid emotional labor even though by the definition, men would actually do more of it in relationships because women express emotions more than men.

When confronted with this, feminists usually move the goalpost and basically say “emotional labor can mean what we i want it to” even calling cooking and cleaning emotional labor despite neither of those requiring any emotions.

The fact that they can't even conceptualize how female privilege, gynocentrism, a culture of male disposability/misandry or toxic femininity could not only exist but be major sources of grief, disparity and inequality for men just about tells you everything that you need to know. They are not looking at full picture, nor are they even willing to. It's not about helping men, it's just about gaslighting and shaming men into following the cult of feminism.
