Well I am a white male from Switzerland and I wish I had equality, lol.

I mean I was directly told that if I were female I would get the scholarship I applied for. (Women already outnumbered men in higher education at that time)

And shortly after that I was forced to do military service instead because I am male.

But at least I now get to retire at the same age as women, since we had a vote over a week ago that equalized retirement age. (Was lower for women before.) Feminists tried to stop this.

So yes, I am absolutely for equality, but I think my opinion of what equality is (same rights, duties and opportunities for everyone) is vastly different from what feminists think it is.

Women are objectively privileged in a legal sense (they have more rights by law)

Women are objectively privileged in the educational sense (education & academia is dominated by feminists/women & these institutions widely privilege girls)

Women are objectively privileged in a social sense (their lives are considered more valuable)

Women are objectively privileged in a financial sense (even though they "earn less" on average, they get loads of special programs just to benifit them, whilst they also control the vast majority of male spending).

These are the four big areas that feminists use to determine how much "equality" a country has, and in every one of those areas, women have it better. Yet they still somehow delude themselves into believing "white men" are all privileged. By almost any feminist standard (especially when it comes to things like crime victimization or workplace advantages) men have it SO much worse. These people are so fucking delusional.

A lot of opressed peoples don't truly want equality, they want to dominate instead. I was raised to never be racist or sexist, to not take part in and call out racism and sexism and I have been told I'm a racist and/or sexist POS more times in the past year or so than I have in all my life, all for simply existing. Banned from subs on this platform just for taking part in discussion about issues affecting men.

I want equality for all. I don't support opression of marginalized groups or genders. It's just frustrating constantly being told I am or treated like I am the problem just for existing, for being a white cis male. That's more racist and sexist than I've ever been and I believe it's terribly counter productive for the overall movement for equality for all.

But they do have a point with the other thing, it's quite common that issues associated with capitalism get misattributed to something else, like feminism or men's rights, and that's a big part of why there are so many cynnacle and reactionary femmenist and mras out there that blame all their problems on patriarchy or gynocentrism.

Equality....I remember just before covid there was a huge campaing to prevent breast & prostaate cancer.

Breast C: medical bus in every major city all over the country, every 2nd week. Every women could free of charge make tests and be guided how to treat herself.

Prostate C: 1 bus, 1 city, 1 weend in the whole year.

In general, a women could make a test max 50km from home, in max 2 weeks. Man had 1 opportunity in a whole year, many times hundreds of kms from home.

There are plenty of examples women are priviliged and men are simply opressed.

Pure equality is crap. Egalitarianism is, at the core, an oppressive and unjust political doctrine. It's advocating that Usain Bolt should be slowed down to the speed of the worst athletes.

The only equality that matters is the equality of rights (and when I mean "rights", I mean negative rights, not positive rights: the "right to housing" isn't a true right).

There are white homeless men in every state in the United States, proving the myth of white privilege. I'm not white, yet I think it's abhorrent and unfair to wage war on white guys. When Jimmy Kimmel declared, "White folks lost 20 million kids," the audience applauded, demonstrating just how insane and extreme these liberals can be. To jolt thick skulls with reality, we simply need to dispel myths about white privilege. Why don't feminists also discuss gender parity in the roles of electricians, mechanics, and construction workers? Just because one group is wealthy or at the top does not necessarily mean that they are the ones who are oppressing others.
