I don't understand. What you're doing is putting your name on a list that they can draft from in case of a war, right?

They say it's the law but they also ask you to do it.

In Poland when you turn 18 and the times of annual military "qualification" happens, you receive a letter stating, that you have to go the qualification site (a local health care unit) or the police will bring you by force. Then they examine you and you receive a health category, determining, if you're a reservist or you can't fight.

Oh, it's men-only. Women only, if they are studying in a field useful during war (medical, psych, like that).

That flyer looks like shit. Mixed fonts - also too many -, dumb arguments ("It's the law? Then why try to convince me with "It's easy"?), what's with the redundancy in "selective service system"?, and an arrow made by a 12-year-old that just discovered photoshop or some 90s gif collection. Also, what's with that americanism "Do the right thing"? It sounds like some big moral decision "Put down the dog or keep him alive?" or "Give aid to dictatorships or help local businesses?" Then again I guess they have to try and convince you to give away your status and location to make yourself vulnerable in case of a draft.

I didn't get fasfa, even though I only had one parent working and was on free lunch all the way through highschool until they lowered the bracket then I was reduced senior year.

I really want to rant right now but I'm going to try and keep this short. I'm a lady, 29 yrs old. Wtf is going on with the world right now? It's impossible to log into any media without seeing some anti men bs. They are trying to make men out to be little boys, all you have to do is look at a group of men to see that physically, you guys are stronger then us (there are women out there who can keep up, and they do, so whats the problem?) I just saw a friend's post on fb basically blaming all but 1 percent of rape on men, again wtf?? There may be a little something to this "wage gap" thing, in that Yes, women might make less than men as a whole. But they don't want to consider that women in general pick jobs that pay less? That Stem fields are dominated by men because women choose shit like "gender studies" to study? I think the fact that I grew up with a good dad and 4 brothers might be part of why I'm so against all this, but come on.. anyways rant over, sorry for the block on text, I'm on mobile.
