For those who don't know, the sub FemaleDatingStrategy (FDS) is one of the many male-hate subs on Reddit.

They dehumanize men, treat men like money machines and consistently talk hatefully about men but Reddit and subs like /r/AgainstHateSubreddits only care about the transphobia on the sub, not the rampant misandry.

So imagine my surprise when I search for "dating" (an innocent enough search) and the third result is FDS.

This means that when impressionable children, boys and girls of all the ages Reddit allows, type in "dating", a HATE SUB is the third result.

Dating advice? - Same result.

Imagine if google led all men searching for dating advice to misogynistic and hate subs.

It's 10th in "relationships" because you don't want to form a cisthet relationship without considering how Men Are Evil, do you?

/r/TwoXChromosomes is third in this search, and they are too often just a less explicit version of FDS.

Reddit doesn't care about men and harbours subs that promote hate against men.

Therefore, Reddit is a hate site.

I've found discord to be useful.

However, I honestly think we should have an at-arms-length public option where moderators are professionals who only ban for breaking sub or site rules.

It would encourage discussion and force the fundamentalists to face their worst fear: having to rationally justify their ideology.

We veterans have gone through this before. A site is an open forum for honest discussion, it get's co-oped by a massive influx from the hard left, the remaining user base retreats to the next new platform. I saw this going from Slashdot to Fark to Digg to Reddit.

At the moment there is no alternative, but when there finally is this place will implode.

Yes, I agree about the double standards/hypocrisy/misandry that is allowed from these subs. That said, I've never agreed with censorship, again I am acknowledging the double standard when it comes to banning and censoring. I say, let them keep posting their shit, hell even direct young men to their subs. Why? Easy, more young men need to learn/know how women are trying to play them, learn their tactics and be able to see the toxic traits and avoid them at all costs. If your enemy is giving you their playbook why not study it and use it against them.

These "women" view a man's wallet the same way men views pussy. So why not use that against them? Play them, string them along, totally destroy them. It's time men stop playing nice and start playing by their rules. And no I'm not advocating for violence or anything of the sort just learn their tactics and use it against them.

It's an oversimplification. People are shaped by bad experiences. You'll find some carry those experiences on and their beliefs and behaviours over time can worsen towards that sex

This line comes to mind (from chapter 3 of Self-Made Man):

Do you know what the problem is with tolerating intolerance, even if it's just leaving it in its "natural habitat"? It will crop up here and there, most people don't care, some scoff at it, some share an encounter amusingly as "you won't believe these crazy people" but once in a while it's different, maybe one in a hundred people will think and say "hey, I think they're onto something." Time passes like this, months, years, this intolerance picks up every hundredth person crossing paths with it and the next thing you know it's a widely believed conspiracy theory with millions of believers (maybe not even restricted to a single country or language) who are willing to attack whatever they think conflicts with their world views and even get violent IRL. Or they silently creep into everything and start making new official policies for countries; and next time you'll be called a believer in conspiracy theories for pointing it out.

FDS is straight up one of the worst subs on this website. It makes me sick. How the fuck do they get away with referring to men they do not meet their ridiculously high demands as "Low Value Males". That shit is so dumb. If it was the other way around the sub would be banned within 2 weeks, I guarantee it.

I can't find the post but AHS (againsthatesubreddits) explicitly said they only care about the transphobia there, not the misandry.

Their mods also claimed that misandry isn't real (post since deleted).

FDS gets a pass because it shits on men. If they targeted anyone else (except maybe white or cis people), they'd've been banned long ago.

But no. Reddit's admins are bigots, so....

Reddit is all against hate against "protected" groups which is basically everyone EXCEPT men and/or Christians. Those two groups are open for hunting season on Reddit.

I'm not saying it's openly anti Christian. I'm saying whoever wants to hate on it or insult it is free to do so without fear of consequences. However, if you tried that with another religion like Islam, you'd be punished because it's a "protected group".

It's exactly the same with man-hating. It's allowed under the guise of feminism whereas hating women is forbidden.

Prime example: r/ againstmensrights is standing tall while r /againstwomensrights got banned few days within creation IIRC.

Yes, women's voices are never suppressed, even when they advocate genocide (#killallmen). Men's voices are suppressed but someone how we live in a patriarchy? Whoever is having their voices suppressed are not the people in power. Th people in power to no suppress their own voices.

This, along with the long list of legal rights and privileges, clearly demonstrates that men are 2nd class citizens. We are an underclass in the civilization that we built.

All those calls for "equality" were a lie. Women only wanted equality as a stepping stone to domination. Never fall for this scam again, men.

How are men the most privilege gender when it is their voice that is suppressed?

When men stand up against sexism, they're told they're "whining" or "crying" or given #maletears or #notallmen (mockingly) or any number of responses that don't engage with the initial objection given by the man.

That's because ANY response to a man about his "rights" snicker is a luxury bestowed upon them. The objections of the second-largest identity group in the world are irrelevant because their role as Oppressor is so clear, so concrete in feminists' minds that actually talking about the different ways in which our society treats women AND men is a joke, a favour, a barely-contained guffaw.

Yup and I firmly believe the algorithms are set to establish hate. Nothing will keep someone scrolling longer or on a place longer than if they are mad. Happy thoughts make the mind wander, while anger gives you tunnel vision.

That's it. Dehumanize is the word quite literally because all human-related qualities about anything are targeted towards women: they get benefit of the doubt, are seen as inherently valuable and used as a sign of power, a dynamic no one bats an eye on because is so taken for granted. Women pleasure is viewed as sacred and ethereal, while men's is shamed and seen as an one-noted experience not worth of deep research.

As an example, articles talking about male climax never address the prostate and see the whole process through an animalesque lens. Take as an example those two posts on the subject. Notice how the male orgasm starts at 'arousal', as if women also didn't get aroused, while women's start at sensations and touch, what differs sex from mindless animal reproduction. Also, no mention of Kegels, prostate, nothing.

Men are seen as ice-cream machines, and if that isn't dehumanization by the book, I don't know what is.

these days hate is not hate if its directed at (any or all) straight, white, male.

im actually ok with this. im a straight white male. i think to end conflicts you have to let people "hit back" so to speak. before you get on me, this is basically turn the other cheek but maybe here turn the 1st cheek

I mean, it looks like they monetized the hate movement into a steady Patreon income.

Their last post was 7 days ago so I guess this happened somewhat recently.

I've written to Patreon to protest their funding but not response so far (11 months later).

It's pretty established that when something is socially acceptable, it's fine. It's always been socially acceptable to put men down, so it's fine.

For example, everyone is against rape; however, people find it socially acceptable to make rape jokes about men, "dropping the soap," in prison. It's a very hypocritical inherit system full of double-standards.
