Why would you pay money to fucking support a fucking rape apologist if you weren't fucking one

This is frightening. An idea becomes very dangerous when it finds ways to completely dismiss anything even slightly associated with those who oppose it. How the hell can you fault anyone for listening to multiple views? Where I'm from that's called open mindedness, and it's a fucking good thing; it's how the marketplace of ideas thrives.

Aristotle has said a lot of stupid shit in his life, but one thing I strongly agree with is when he said, "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." I would expand on that and say "It is the mark of an irrational lunatic to be incapable of allowing others to listen to those with whom you disagree."

Not nearly as catchy and brief, but I say it holds true. If you can't let people entertain the ideas of someone you strongly dislike without going into a panicked frenzy, you're probably a fucking wacko, and should rethink your current beliefs.

The feminist community should be trying their hardest to distance themselves from this protest; it was a hysterical embarrassment no rational human could support. But hey, I shouldn't assume the feminist community is entirely rational.

It seems, as as with any radical fringe group, these people have been indoctrinated and trained to speak to ridiculous talking points. The most brazen example, to me, is how Warren's quote about romantic encounters has been completely misconstrued.

Unfortunately, people that would do this are beyond help because they will only selectively hear what they want or lack the ability to process rational discourse.

As I said in the other thread that posts the whole video, the video does nothing but help our cause. Every single protester comes across as batshit crazy and possibly violent while the people going to the speech are calm and well spoken.

I do agree that this woman looks like she'd be capable of killing or at least injuring someone. I'm willing to bet that had cameras and/or the police not been there the protest would have turned violent.
