I can agree to this. My and my wife randomly spoke about this at some point. We were watching some movie and a scene came up and we just start joking about the topic. And from that moment I noticed many thing. Now I’d like to say in advance that it’s not okay and I don’t encourage people to engage in such behaviours.

Now continuing on, from that moment I noticed something. Me and my wife randomly made jokes about things we both know we wouldn’t do. The whole swinging lifestyle happens to be one of them and we know that never ever will we be involved in that. But we randomly started looking up places that have these sort of lifestyles and I noticed that swinger clubs and parties are available for all but single men. It’s more restricted for single men. They have to pay more thank couples to get into a club. And single ladies, they get in for free or pay the least amount of money. Not only that, even if single guys are allowed, it can only be given admission once per week or so.

They have to dress up to impress more than couples and single women who go into the same place. Single men aren’t allowed all the time for the safety of others. How does that even make sense when other people also go there. How is a single woman allowed and no one questions the safety of others? Why should a man pay an extra 100 bucks but the woman can get in for free? If it’s about swinging and single men don’t have partners, then always are single women allowed to engage in swinging when they also don’t have a partner? If it’s to empower single women to meet a future partner at a swinger event then why not single men?

Why should men face all the crap when women do the same level of things but get a pass for it? Why should a man be told how to dress but not a woman? Why should a man be denied but not a woman? Why should a man have to pay more than a woman but spend less time at the party than the woman? In fact I think I can to some extent give a pat on the back to those men who use a doll or toys or whatever because at least they kept control of themselves from doing something they shouldn’t. Both men and women have urges and want it at some point, but if they are doing it themselves then why are men the losers but not women?

This is not just misandrist double standard, it comes from the men too.

The sex toy for the woman is usually considered a sign of the woman not being able to find a partner, at least not one who meets her standard, and that's, to an extent, socially accepted without much shaming.

The man who uses dolls or whatever, is supposedly a man who's not getting girls or a massive perv. Being too perverted as a man in a serious context is shamed, and being unsuccesful with girls 'proves' the man is underserving of respect unless there are other amazing feats he achieved.

This is, again, not promoted just by women but also by men.

It's now slowly changing because relatively normal guys are struggling with dating more than ever.

Regarding those sex toys/dolls I think there are hook up apps (doesn't work for everyone, I know), porn (which isn't good for the brain...) and those toys, so I guess they are the lesser evil??

I don't know, I personally don't like the idea but I won't be judging anyone who uses them.

There's no real debate, though. I have been hearing lately how women will hate sex dolls and stuff like that because that will mean less potential resourcess for them, and I don't buy it. Women will never struggle finding a partner as long as she's willing to lower the standards a bit, and the vast majority of men will prefer a real woman instead of toys.

What's a bit more disturbing is the potential of AI + realistic dolls for lonely men, it's a technology which is developing really fast. I don't expect a perfect JOI from blade runner, but if we get to the point where it becomes somewhat convincing with an interesting and caring 'personality', I could see some men prefering that over unattractive women with questionable behaviour.

Anyway, this is all just incel topic, which is ok, but I wouldn't align it with men's rights since men already have the right to buy that stuff and, while they get shamed, women also get shamed for their toys, the only exception being the attractive women but those are pretty much inmune to that kind of shaming because they could clearly find a partner if they wanted.
