There are more women in a relationship with a man who is already taken while some men don’t recognize there relationship as a relationship. If a woman stops having sex with me I don’t consider it a relationship anymore. Just speculation on my part

Unfortunately the stats are true there are way more single men than women. But in the next twenty years I think it will change. In my generation only 20% to 10% are sexually active.

That is the sad reality of the sex market (contrary to what people and media believe is not only about sex-related industries like porn or prostitution, it is also about how much capable a person is of being selected as a potential sexual/emotional partner).

The fact that most men will end their lives without a partner, while most women will probably die being married and even with children is proof of that.

Also, this isn´t something new.

The fact that all humankind descends from the majority of women that had existed through history, while at the same time, we only descended from the half of men that had existed throughout history, tells us something.

Realistically, it's probably a combination of bad sampling and hypergamy.
