There's a huge scandal at Cambridge University with a really nasty racist staff member tweeting "white lives don't matter". The university promoted her to a professor immediately after she outed herself as a racist, and someone got a big petition going on change.org seeking to have her fired.

Change.org is so hateful that deleted this anti-racist without explanation once it got really big. They're evil.

Women's rights = female supremacy. It is only logical to assume this because the deliberate exclusion of men's rights is the equivalent of oppression, and the promotion of female "rights" over men's is supremacy. Don't believe me? Look at the amount of female-only crisis programs, female-only scholarships, etc.

I remember in high school a friend of mine and i were laughing because a girl on our class make a petition to cancel One Direction when one of the members left the band.

To be fair, there can be both.

Gender equality would be for stuff like equal pay, or for paternal leave to be the same as maternal leave.

Womens rights would be for more specific things. Abortion rights are a subject that is explicitly about women.

There is some overlap between the 2, but there can exist both independently.
