Being physically stronger is only a slight advantage.
Being on average physically stronger doesn't make a man immune to being stabbed with a knife, run over by a car or shot by a gun.

Not only that but women often enlist the aid of "Other men" to inflict violence on their behalf..
so, being on average physically stronger than women means nothing if a woman convinces a man to attack you on her behalf.

Violence caused by a woman can certainly cause damage, especially if a weapon is involved and it should be taken just a seriously as man on woman violence.

But women being stronger than men physically is an exception, not the rule. There are out outliers everywhere for most everything. Somewhere, sometime, there is some woman that is stronger than some man. But 9/10 times it's not the case.

Again though, I think that is misused by people who want to push the agenda that men are always the perpetrators because of this, or that the violence against them isn't as serious. Those same people would be anywhere else claiming that women are just as strong as men in every way.

The only thing they care about are narratives. Facts do not matter to them, especially not when those facts would lead them to consequences of their actions (violence or otherwise).

I don't believe trying to prove to them that women could hurt men in any way would do anything at all to be honest.

Men are on average stronger, this is proved by endless data and history. From denser bones, more testosterone etc

But the strength is exaggerated. For example the chivalry rule of walking on the side closest to the car is so if a car does crash it hits you, but men are still likely to die from that. Or the idea that men are on so strong so on buses should give their seats up, men can get tired. Women hits even if they can't do damage (which I disagree, being strong doesn't suddenly mean you are invincible but just for argument sake) still can hurt.

Besides I don't believe in the privilege of the weak as in the stronger one always has to hold back and coddle them just because they are stronger. Men didn't choose to be stronger and continuous hits can cause damage.

I agree completely. Unfortunately, this argument hurts the egos of many men, including many MRAs, so you might get some resistance here. The average American woman weighs 170 pounds, which is about my size. The average American man weighs about 200. So, yeah men are bigger, but not as much bigger as many think.

Yeah, I know, some simpleton is going to jump in here with "it's muscle mass we should be talking about, not just weight". Yeah, I know that too. Still the difference in strength between the genders is not as much as many think. I read once in a magazine that 20% of wives are physically stronger than their husbands. Now, to be honest, that magazine cited no source for that tidbit. My guess is that was an "expert opinion". So you could take it with a grain of salt.

Here's my take on this. I don't know of any reliable data on this. Muscle mass does not guarantee strength either. So, absent real solid evidence, I prefer to give a range rather than a specific data value. I think if you pick a random couple, the probability the wife is stronger than the husband probably ranges from as low as 10% to as high as 25 or 30%. I believe it's somewhere between there. With no real evidence, who really knows? I remember as a kid, when kids do indeed get into fights, the girls were nowhere near as weak as people think. (Yeah, I know, that was before puberty. Actually I recall some fights that took place after puberty).

It is rare for a woman to be physically strong than a man. Of course there are always some outlier somewhere. However, that has nothing to do with a woman’s ability to harm a man. Weaker men harm stronger men all the time. Same difference.

Realistically speaking, sure a woman can do lots of damage if she’s physically stronger or has a weapon. The truth though is that it’s not even limited to just physical force

It also extends to the willing to impose it. As such, for most men the reason they get physically abused is because the assumption is they will and likely can hurt the lady in question.

The thing is, if a woman is constantly physically abusing a man, eventually he will fight back. The damage that she inflicted on him won’t compare to the things he’ll do to her. For me it’s the fact that we’re supposed to take it because we can’t retaliate.

As if bring attacked doesn’t hurt us emotionally, even if it doesn’t hurt us physically. Nothing makes a man feel smaller than the idea he can be abused and no one will care. At that point… people break and all bets are off.

So basically, no one should be abusing anyone. Physically or otherwise. It does more than hurt you physically.

It's not a lie that men are physically stronger than women. It's just a faulty conclusion to take that fact and turn it into, "and therefore, a woman physically beating a man does no harm".

Sure, there are some women who are stronger than some men. But I still think it's foolish to call it a lie that men are stronger than women. I agree with your conclusion that it's dumb how people justify women beating men. But the issue isn't that men aren't actually stronger than women. The issue is that, even given a man who is stronger than a woman, he can still be harmed by her beating him.

One thing men need to understand is that it's always some rationalization.

Men could be smaller and weaker in general, like many species in the animal kingdom, and it still wouldn't matter.

It is and has always been about reproductive value, as it has been hardwired and drilled deep down in people's reptile brains from birth through eons of natural selection, and politically vital for human cattle managers A.K.A. government.

I’m sure I saw a Jordan Peterson video where he said that most men and women are roughly the same strength. there’s only meaningful difference in the strongest of each sex where men are stronger.

Yeah this is a huge cop out. Small and weak men are the most common and are easily bested by even a moderately trained woman. I get my butt kicked all the time by women athletes for instance. The strongest is whoever trains the best.

strength of people by gender on a chart is similar to two normal distributions overlapping by like 1/3 (a guess). There are exceptions to the rule of the collective: that males are stronger than females. Females tend to bring weapons to domestic violence at a significantly higher rates because of the strength differential, and male victims of DV or IPV are more likely to wind up in the hospital with worse wounds because of it. This issue is well documented.

Men have a naturally more dense bone and muscle structure, this is a fact.

A woman may be bigger and stronger than A man but it’s a situation where the exception that proves the rule
