Being rich also improves healthcare outcomes but that’s not a right 😂 so does living in specific countries, living in rural areas, having higher education and so on. None of those are ‘rights’.

Also the only way to actually carry out said right would be to allow rape. So I’m not quite sure what the point of this question is?

Just cause something might be good for you doesn’t mean it’s a human right. I think lifting is extremely healthy, and can improve social standings and overall mental health. That doesn’t mean Gym membership should be a human right.

Increasing social standing is not a human right.

There’s plenty of other ways to relieve stress. Doing something nice, holiday, picnics, massages, gaming, therapy and although I don’t recommend too much: drinking.

Using sex with another person’s body to relieve your stress is not a human right. You’re not entitled to sex. The only sexual activity you have a human right to is with yourself.

I don’t believe men deserve an inherent human right to have sex with women. I am feminist. I don’t think a lot of others believe it should be a right too.

BTW It can be beneficial to women but both genders can improve their health by taking care of themselves (relaxation and exercise and mood boosting) in other ways.

No. Nobody has this right to another person's body or sexual services.

If they can find somebody who is willing to do it without being forced then that's fine but no, other people's sex life is not government mandated no more than the government forces you to stop smoking or removes mold from your house because that's also good for you.

i dont think anyone thinks sex is a "human right", including feminists (but i could be wrong now) rights imply duties and a making sex a positive right for males would mean there would be some duty on the governemnt to provide it

I support sex work. I want sex workers to be save, earn enough income, have safe living conditions etc. I want sex workers to have rights.

So if sex work is safe and legal and everything men can just pay for it. If you want sex for your health you can pay for it. Of you want to go to the gym you pay for it. If you want to work on your mental health you pay a therapist. You have to pay for health. And you should have every right you want to do so. Pay for good food, health, sport etc.

Welcome to capitalism. You can also do none of these things and only use what's available to you. Nothing is handed to anyone for free.

Depends on the feminist, but they consider it a right for women as much as men. In general, you don't have the right to do anything that could possibly improve your health - there's no right to healthy food or a non-stressful job. You don't have the right to improve your social standing or anything like that either.

No. Because feminism was for the sole benefit of women, rightfully so. But as more generations were more, more waves of feminism came. Leading to women having more power and control then even men now.

Sexual activity is an activity that most women control what happens during (besides assault), meaning that what ever happens go though the women’s decision .

Some feminists that aren’t the radical feminist wing do really support sex workers and want better conditions and legalization of prostitution. So in that way, feminists are kindof defacto supporting a legal outlet for sexual activity that even the most hard up undesireable guy can get.

The thing is that sex is never free. Either the man works hard physically, financially, and emotionally to be desired by women, or he works hard to pay a prostitute. Men have a right to work.

Are you referring to a right to government subsidized sex? Like you walk into a clinic and they give you room #3 to get your monthly sex shot? Or you go to a pretty physical therapist to work those thrusting muscles? I doubt that’ll pass legislation.

You may be on to something though, perhaps there should be insurance covered services for learning how to interact with the opposite sex.

There's a lot of ways that those with fewer resources have to put up with second class options. Welfare payments are crap compared to wages. Government schools don't even begin to compare to the best private schools. Dressing yourself at the salvos gets the job done but isn't aesthetically great or maximally warm and comfy. Having your tonsils out on public health will involve a wait list, the bare minimum of overnights and food that is nothing special. The carrots at the food bank are limp and battered, the potatoes starting to green. All these things...the better option is probably more health and life enhancing. That's poverty for you.

A safety net is a safety net. Break your neck and ideally you will receive for free a random bored personal care worker listlessly wank you off a couple of times a week while pretending not to be there.

I can't see a way in which sex as a right works. Firstly, if you have health issues due to being alone and not getting sex, the government should help with funding cultural programs that allow you to meet other people and of course fully offering healthcare.

I'm not saying sex could never be a right, i just don't see how it'd be implemented. Would the government hire escorts to sleep with people who aren't having sex?

I cringe at the idea that people would feel ok with having sex in which there's no fantasy being fulfilled. For example, for me as an incel, having sex is very appealing because it could be proof that I can be desired, and also it could prove that I'm capable of giving other people joy. If it were only a matter of cumming then I'd spend all of my money on prostitutes. (Btw I'm not against prostitution nor condemn people that use them. If I had more money I probably would use their services but being poor I prioritize other things)

To me it just seems that sex is part of a different social sphere to culture and healthcare, so it's hard to imagine an institution that'd provide sex as an entirely medical experience instead of it as a perverse fantastic experience which is what we all desire.

I much rather have sanctioned suicide than right to sex to be honest. I don't think having the government force someone to fuck you would be empowering. ```
