How old are you?

IME (and when I was young back in the olden days of ten years ago), going to someone's dorm (or apartment if they were REALLY ballin) and watching YouTube or otherwise dicking around on the internet was dating for high school and younger college students.

So if you're that age, you're fine. If you're like 30, no that's not gonna work.

Once in a while sure, but you gonna need more than that friend and you can do shit FOR FREE! If you head on over to r/povertyfinance right now there is a list of free things you can do. You can search for free/cheap dating ideas. You can also search your city for free/cheap things each weekend. Museum Days, City Parks, Walking Tours, Snacking at Costco, pick up sports, little craft and drinking classes were you paint a plate and drink beer while you do it. Spread these things out. Don't be boring.

Netflix is cheap but you only need one account, shell probably have one, or will have friends who let her use theirs. I share mine with 3-4 people. Plus you can watch movies on putlocker

Browsing reddit with someone just sounds crap, and youtube videos are a hit and miss (I can only do this with my brother, everyone else is too annoying with what they watch on YouTube). There are better cheap things to do

How old are you? When I was 15 sitting in a hammock watching YouTube videos as our only activity may have worked. I’m thinking about summer camp. College too.

Also date chicks who are used to an income / stability situation similar to yours.

also, you do realize that when people say "netflix and chill" they're usually talking about sex right? i mean, when people have been in a relationship for a while they will legitimately watch Netflix together. but in the early stages of a relationship or with a girl you've just met, inviting her over to watch netflix and chil is really just an indirect way of saying "hey come over to my place so we can fuck" except at this point it's such a cliche phrase that there's not really any plausible deniability anymore. netflix may be playing in the background while you have sex, but no one is really watching it.
