For relationships of course personality matters. Does anyone argue otherwise?

For casual sex it matters much less as long as you can put yourself out there and act confident and smooth enough for the night. Alcohol helps if this does not come naturally to you.

I would say personality matters (specifically extroversion/introversion/outgoing/withdrawn etc.) in that it dictates what women like to do and how they spend their time - determining how often they are in situations to be asked out. I wouldn't say this is a matter of guys seeing quiet women and thinking 'ew no' but more a matter of a guy not seeing quiet women as often due to the fact that quiet women tend to stay out of such social situations in the first place.

Depends on how quiet.

In the end, men don't like rejection. If a woman has an "I am not interested anyway"-aura, they will get far less approaches because guys will assume that hitting on them is simply not worth it.

Guys always go for the sparkling, sassy, life of the party. They are the easiest to go for, and they are the easiest to talk to. They might not be the most stable, and they are usually narcissistic, but easiest for the short term.

Perhaps you are overrating the attractiveness of your quiet girlfriends? It boggles my mind to see people of the same gender rate each other attractiveness when it is the opposite gender making the final decision. If you are not being approached, getting IOIs, generating smiles for doing nothing then you are not attractive, male or female.

Well, my anecdotal opinion on this is that if look were the be all, end all of relationship success there would be no hollywood tabloids.

Can 100% relate. Have lots of friends that are average or sometimes no offence below average that jump from relationship to relationship. Must be because they are outgoing. I don't really have any quiet friends (besides me) but the ones that are less outgoing aren't in relationships that much.

Yes, because men see women as a whole, not just their looks. Whereas women need men to be perfect to feel attracted to them.

Outgoing women also give out the impression that they'd be easier to bed/less of a prude, which CAN and often DO increase attention from guys.
