What is the difference between a "nice guy", "forever alone", and an "incel"?

A nice guy/girl by negative connotation is someone who projects an outwardly present personality and is likely overall a decent person. When it comes to relationships, however, they expect the object of their desires to somehow figure out without overt display. And when rejected, they react with disproportionate negativity.

An incel at the most basic state is simply a virgin with no prospects.

A forever alone is someone, incel or not, who believes they are entirely unlovable and will be, as noted, alone forever. Which often leads to them making sure of that by not taking care of themselves and projecting a negative attitude.

A nice guy is a guy who believes he can get sex by being nice to women. Most often, nice guys used niceness as a detour from being direct and open about their desires. They often become doormats in the process, where they are always convinced being even more nice will finally get a woman to say yes.

An incel is a guy who believes he cannot get sex, at all, with any means at his current disposal. No matter what he does, or how many women he approaches, he fails. Incels are all virgins.

Forever Alone is rather different from an incel. They are more bothered and suffering with having no friends or lovers, and seem to more long for a loving relationship than the chance to have sex. While incels are men that are frustrated at the hookup culture and the lack of opportunities for them in it, forever alone's are a much more serious state of social isolation.

A & C externalize blame. B internalizes it. Neither A B or C do any introspection or try to change. A B & C all found a group of people who have constructed a similar enough defense against change.

A nice guy is a guy who forgot that pleasant manners and treating women nicely doesn't mean anything when it comes to attracting them lol. A forever alone is an anti-social guy who lacks the ability to form friendships with men or women. An incel is a -5 man who is only looking at women who are above his league.

If social or romantic capital was the ability to attract relationships:

"Nice guys" have some, but squander it.

"ForeverAlones" have almost none; if social capital was money, they'd be poor or homeless.

"Incels" are like ForeverAlones, but they define their condition as an inability to get sex, rather than romance.

Depends in who you ask. A nice guy can be manipulative or unable to show genuine interest. A nice guy can be s genuinely good guy that women never seem interested.

A foreveralone type can simply describe a feeling of loneliness and failure in love. Or it can mean a guy with very little success with women. Others still describe foreveralone as people who are Whiney and complain about their failure rather then do nothing about it.

Nice guy: has good to excellent social skills. Overly concerned with not hurting any ones feelings, so has difficulty initiating action. Girls can like these guys but these guys are too hesitant to take the necessary steps in a relationship. They fear encroaching on a woman's boundaries.

Forever Alone: Terrible social skills. They can be smart, dumb, good looking, ugly, rich, poor, shy, or outgoing. They just don't know how to interact with people.

Incel: A combination of Forever Alone and Nice Guy. Can pass for normal, but in the end, just doesn't have what it takes to get laid. Their inability to sex is likely due to a combination of issues.
