A common occurrence around here is women coming on to say that they want an equal relationship, and I have always thought the idea was ludicrous because people aren't equal. One partner may be physically stronger or much smarter; One partner may be better with numbers and the other better at socializing. I have recently realized what it means when people refer to their relationships as "equal".

When a woman says "equal relationship" she means that the man must do all of the traditional male chores like yardwork, fixing things around the house, taking out the trash, providing protection, and then must also do half of the traditional female chores like doing dishes and cleaning.

It also means that the woman gets to make all decisions of any importance such as where to go on vacation, where to live, what to spend money on, and all of their activities.

When a man says "equal relationship" he means that he just wants his woman to quit bitching at him.
