I'm going to speak about guys in general, but the real purpose of this post is to convince myself of the truth.

Most guys come to take the red pill after they've had a heart wrenching blue pill experience. For me, and for most guys, it was a case of putting a girl on a pedestal and trusting her, only to end up being used and manipulated without getting anything in return.

So we become bitter, and we decide we're going to put up an anti-manipulation defense. We're never going to let anyone use us and manipulate us ever again. We're going to kill our neediness for anyone's validation. We're not going to open up to anyone and give them a chance to hurt us. We take the red pill.

It takes us a while, but eventually we are able to kill our neediness. We internalize the idea that we are good enough without anyone else's approval, and we no longer supplicate to women. We've finally achieved our goal of never being manipulated again.

But then we leave up our defenses out of habit. We forget to take our guard down once we no longer need it. Think about it. If you know with certainty that you will never supplicate to a woman because you need her validation, then why would you be afraid of opening up and being honest with a woman? You're attempting to block a punch that will never come — that can never come ever again. When your skin is indestructible, a suit of armor becomes redundant.

Why would you be afraid of telling a woman that she's beautiful, that she turns you on, that you like such and such thing about her? Why would you be afraid of telling the truth about your intentions? Why would you be afraid of letting a woman see you smile because of something she did that you approve of? Why would you be afraid of putting down your stonewall of indifference? The only reason you were afraid of those things was because you didn't trust yourself. Back when you were blue pill, when you did those things it was a one way ticket to being manipulated. But what now, when you can no longer be manipulated? What power does anyone have over you now? None. You are no longer in any danger. You are no longer volunteering yourself for the position. You've stepped out of the ring.

So open up again. Relax. Let the child in you run free. Allow people to see you smile. Allow people to know the real you. Be authentic. Be openly sexual with girls and expect and need nothing in return. Dance, sing, laugh. Just have fun! There's nothing to be afraid of anymore.

You no longer need anything, so you are free to do anything.
