Neutral/Reflection:

I have this idea that, after I finish my placement, going be to Uni will be 'Valhalla'. I should readjust this expectation, as I could be setting myself up for disappointment. I feel I'm kinda 'coping'/stagnating at the moment due to how my family's a mess, am pretty much friendless and on an internship I don't really enjoy. I want to shift my perspective to see the good in every day, and I think I could do. My problem is my lack of direction - I'm not sure where I'm heading or what I'm able to achieve up until Uni. It sounds crazy, but I feel the only area I REALLY want/need to improve to feel some fulfilment and satisfaction in life is with women, and everything else is just a distraction, even if I am hitting the gym hard, reading non-fiction, making money and travelling...
My mind's been fucking me around more than usual this week. I journal, meditate, and am currently going through The Daily Stoic and accompanying journal, yet still I have days where I'm a fucking mess in the evenings. I'm at the lowest I've been in years. What gets me down even further is that, due to my belief/philosophy, I think "perspective is everything. You could be living a joyful life if you just changed your perspective on things." I do believe that I could be enjoying life although I don't even see attractive girls, don't have any friends, work in a very introverted environment where nobody socializes outside of work and live with people who literally only complain to me about their problems. I have this belief that "with the right mindset, living in a prison cell, being beaten every day, can still be a joyful life." I believe this is a naive perspective as it results in me beating myself up for even having 'down days'. I tell myself I shouldn't be feeling anxious or lonely this just shows I have the wrong mindset, then I feel even worse because I'm unable to just shift my mindset.
In the evenings I get this ball of anxiety I can feel in my stomach. I'm almost sure the cause of this is that I want to be talking to girls, I want to be seeing tangible results with women and going out and doing stuff with the friends I don't have, yet I almost feel I 'can't'. This is shit as it's every fucking night, and I end up distracting myself from it by browsing the internet or watching Netflix, sometimes binging. I don't have the bollocks to go out solo every week to the local club in my grotty little town. I'm heading to a city tomorrow alone, and hope I can just cold approach a few girls to prove to myself that I do have the potential.
I'd like to start growing my Instagram following, and will be researching into ways of growing organically and getting something into fruition. I've been consistently posting for over a year and have very little to show for it.

Positive:

Started 5/3/1 BBB. Finding I'm enjoying my time in the gym more.
Bought and sold some more shit. Formalized this process to make it more business-like and am able to track monthly profit/loss.
Booked all accommodation for my Easter trip.
Spoke to my manager about changing my job role. Result was that he said he'd write a good reference and get me doing more dev stuff in forthcoming weeks.
Staying consistent with this ab-workout app. It'd be nice to actually be able to see some abs while cutting after my bulk.

Negative:

Broke NoFap streak. Back at 4 days atm.
Watched porn during streak-break.
Binged Sunday and last night.
Only practised guitar once this week.
Still have a huge oneitis for my ex, even though I know I have the self-respect to not fuck her if she spread her legs for me. This just shows how fucking lonesome I am I guess and how much I just want to interact with women.

Takeaways:

I must start going away at weekends. Like, just take day trips. Fortunately, I'm doing this tomorrow, am going away for a week next Friday, and are doing 2 day trips the proceeding weekends. I say "must" because it gives me the opportunity to actually cold approach, see new places and get out of my comfort zone. My usual excuse is "I have too much to do/my weekends are too precious", but this is bullshit and only applies when I go out drinking as doing so basically consumes the weekend due to recovery and travelling home on the Sunday.
Start researching into growing my Instagram.
I'm unsure how to form a friend group. My gym is very, very dead and the only way I can think of meeting guys my age is by starting up BJJ again. This is something I will hopefully do in the future but I'm in no mental state to do so atm.

Have been consistent in my daily body habits (meditation, Exercise, Speaking exercise). Good shit.

Negative

Engaging in my addiction all the time, which means that my work habit is functionally 0. Completely unacceptable.
If I don't ,even temporarily, fix this shit, I'll irreversibly fuck up my relationships (as I have before) which'll means I'll miss out of enormous amount of opportunities .I'm in middle of this process already.
Engaging in mental porn on daily basis.
Not doing approaching habit.

I posted here about a month ago about how devastated I was about some Tinder girl ignoring me after I felt such a good connection. Well, since then I have been reading a lot of red pill material and started practicing a lot more.

Positives:

I went on vacation and I had an amazing time. I got to know a girl there and went to her apartment to have sex. Instead of just 'having sex', I tried being a lot more dominant and give her a good fucking instead. She seemed to love it since the day I got home she sent me a text she will be visiting my country in a few weeks.
I met up with some really good looking women there, and I added some pics with them on my Instagram story. I got messages from a lot of different women, one apologised for something that had happened three weeks ago and then asked me about those women, another literally asked me out and flat out told me it was driving her crazy seeing me with those beautiful women. A month ago I would have never believed something like this could happen, it's incredible how powerful jealousy can be.

Negatives

I haven't been able to lift in almost two weeks
I still need to work on cold approaching and generating sexual tension in general.

This has been a good week:

Upped intermittent fasts to with 2 24 hour water fasts this week.

I am 10lbs from my goal weight. Was 240 this time last year, now 195.

Benched 300 lbs this week. This was one of my first fitness goals.

About to promote a girl to plate status once she gets back from vacation.

Next week I will work on some more.

Forcing myself to be social with almost everyone.

Joined a classical choir to force me to push myself musically. We have a performance sunday night.

Practicing stoicism.

Significantly decreased the amount of jacking off.

Now for the bad.

Didn't drink for a week, then this week fell back into old habits.

Good:

Gym three times this week, with yoga and team sports on off-days. Feels great to be active almost everyday.
Got all documents and finances in order to close on my first home next week.
Fantastic night celebrating one-year anniversary with LTR.
Scheduled a Vegas trip with friends to unwind and let loose.

Bad:

Need to be more assertive and comfortable making decisions in my new construction management role. Definitely a different beast compared to the cush office job I was so used to for so many years.
Weeks leading up to closing on the house were arduous and painful. Feels like I'm being taken advantage of on certain things since I'm a first-time homebuyer. Need to be more assertive when dealing with mortgage agents and other entities.
Squats are lacking at the gym. Hernia surgery last year set me back a few months on my progress. Can barely lift my own body weight anymore. Will need to brush aside my ego, dial the weight down, and focus on form to get back where I was pre-surgery.

Positive:

-This week I worked out on a 2 day 1 day rest schedule, I now run more than I usually do and I have seen a tremendous change in my endurance.

-I got some amazing grades for subjects that are presented in the most boring way ever (languages, mathemathics, religious studies) and boosted my grades. (from a 6 to a 7 on average, some even got boosted to an 8).

-I never broke my eating plan, The temptation of junkfood kicked in hard but I didn't give in.

-Boosted the weight I lift.

-Attendance at my martial arts training (kenpo, once a week + at home solo training. Might go back to twice a week when I have time).

-I saved a friend from a toxic relationship. He finally broke up with a girl that was faking depression/being suicidal to always shame him, use guilt to waste his time being an emotional tampon. Even worse it was a long distance relationship so he never got anything in return.

-I work at McDonalds and can't do much work considering my young age, but I found some better place to work which pays 2 euro's an hour extra (which to me is +40/60 Euro's a month) and doesn't have disgusting smell, garbage and entitled landwhales for customers. When I can apply (not yet because of the minimal age) I will send my resumé and get that job. (my options are a nice clothing store, so not primark, or to work at an electronics store downtown)

-Cut loose some toxic influences in my life (some female feminist 'friends' who just use me, influence and try to turn me into a pussyhat wearing soyboy

-Got some better, more masculine clothes (I used to be BP, feminist so I have crappy printed hoodies) My old crappy clothes are now replaced with some better, fitted clothes. I might donate my old hoodies to a charity nearby that redistributes it to the poor or sell them, either way I am getting rid of them.

Negative:

-A girl I don't like (rejected her) who can't handle rejection is now trying to ruin my (social) life by always being there, talking shit about me to my close friends and making up all kinds of things about me even though I rejected her in the best way possible (as said to me by people who were there, male and female friends).

-Shoulder injury from a bad fall at my martial arts dojo, might need a week or so to recover so arm training will be lighter or even not there for a small while

Week 4 - Improvement and Progress Thread

This covers from last Saturday to this Friday.

Top 3 Positive

Fixed Bike

I got my bike fixed and can ride to work now. This cuts down my commute time, instead of downtime I do cardio and it saves me cash money.

Money

I’ve just about completed my financial system. My goal for this system is to be conscious of where all my money is going. I’ve created 4 spreadsheets:

Spreadsheet 1 - Divides my paycheck into “buckets”. Essentially removes fixed costs and shows me how much guilt free money I have to spend.

Spreadsheet 2 - Divides my guilt free money into categories. For each category I allocate a limit for the week. I enter the data as a I go.

Spreadsheet 3 - This is a monthly record. I copy the weekly data over into this sheet and then at the end of the month I get an overview of where my money went. I went back through 2 months of bank statements this week and tallied up the data. This allowed me to forecast and allocate the appropriate amount for each category.

Spreadsheet 4 - This is the All Time Spreadsheet. At the end of each month I copy the data from the monthly record into this spreadsheet.

Additionally I made a "To Buy Sheet". This contains everything I might want to buy and upcoming expenses. I found this really motivated me and put things into perspective. I can see how much I need to save for upcoming expenses so I don't get caught out and how long it would take me to save up for other things I want.

Filing Cabinet

My filing cabinet arrived and it makes a huge difference. A good quick filing system is a crucial part of implementing “Getting Things Done.” It’s improved my productivity quite a bit. I can now quickly access projects (goals) e.g. I have my To Buy sheet on paper in my filing cabinet. It’s easy to review and edit.

Drank Friday Night

I drank a few too many beers again this Friday. This was an improvement on last week. Although I had 5 beers, there were paced over the evening so I didn’t end up drunk or wake up hungover. I’ll have to work out a way to break this habit. Fridays a cue.

Diet

My diet could have been better. My diet was improved upon from last week, but this is my top 3 negative. I’m still putting more shit into my system than I’d like. I want to be a bit more disciplined. E.g. I ate a whole pizza last Saturday night and then went to bed... why?

Gym / Exercise

My lifting and exercising is not up to standard. Again, in this area I actually made an improvement upon last week. I have a bit of resistance to the gym at the moment due to injury restrictions on certain exercises. I was going regularly last year and enjoying it but along some other reasons it resulted in some lower back issues. I need to sit down with a PT and design a program to fix my posture. Despite this I still get get to the gym at least once this week. I also rode my bike to work.

Additional Notes

Started reading http://www.liamrosen.com/fitness.html as diet and fitness revision. It's concise and simple. I like it.
With my finances now under control my new big play is to get a lifting program to work around my injuries and fix my posture.

4th week in.

Good:

Went out for St. Patty's day and did a pretty good job of approaching and gaming women. I got entirely too drunk, but by the end of the night I talked/gamed/danced with about 5 different chicks. got a couple makeouts and numbers but no f-close - gotta crawl before you can walk I guess.
one of the chicks I gamed up is a friend of one of my previous plates. she didn't seem to mind this too much, though because we danced and made out. maybe I should try this more often
productivity at work has been better.

improvements (last time i check in here was maybe 6 months ago)

lost about 40 lbs in a span of 3 months.. im really happy with how the results are turning out. i followed everyones advice and did nothing but heavy lifting about 4-5 times a week from june 2016 until december 2017. once i integrated diet (keto) my muscle mass is finally starting to expose. I am about 35 lbs away from my goal.

Broke up with my oneitis LTR of 7 months. Entered as BP. Realized I entered in her frame and why our relationship was dying. I’m happy I ended things. Blocked her and deleted all pics. Studying a lot (graduate student).

Negatives: I miss her from time to time. Only lifted once this week due to work and school. Confidence hasn’t been as high after break up.

Recent convert, only started reading TRP a week ago when I was trying to figure out how to deal with a case of oneitis. Made me realise how beta I was brought up to be, and so beginneth the journey.

Positive

Set a single, long-term professional goal, with a bunch of smaller milestones along the way. I know people say to just set small goals one at a time, and I guess it's more of a "dream", but I know what I need to do to achieve it so I don't see anything wrong with that.
I hate lifting. Just hate it. Boring, tedious, unenjoyable. Never lasted more than 3 months at a time. So I enrolled in a Krav Maga school instead.
Sticking to mindfulness/meditation despite some hiccups
Can feel a slight improvement to my mindset, aforementioned oneitis is more or less gone. Really trying to reinforce my own needs/wants as the basis of my decision-making process.

Neutral/negative

Still trying to get over approach anxiety. That'll be a long task in itself I'm sure, but I'll get there.
Probably more but too soon to really tell.

Positives:

Finally got around to explore my new city and feeling comfortable speaking the language to strangers (German)
Went to St. Paddy's day/Rugby match viewing with some new friends, was charming as fuck and made a bunch of new potential friends
Started taking boxing classes finally
Continued drawing again, getting more creative with my drawings and finding inspiration seems to come easier
Went climbing alone even though the people I was going with bailed, great way to get good at cold approacing is to talk to the people who are climbing the same route you are trying
Feeling so confident now with initiating conversations with random people to the point that the people get nervous, kind of funny
Attended a job convention to get my network up and scout for potential jobs in my industry
Made some plans for solo travel during the Easter weekend
Improved in gym and bought some new clothes, starting to feel very confident about my style

Negatives:

Stuck doing nothing in my current job, no improvement of skills or way forward
No real social circle due to the new city and lack of potential girls to meet, slowly improving though
Constantly hitting a wall on my german skills, even though I spend hours practising all aspects I still fail on the most basic things (it's probably all in my mind though)
Related to the previous point: I speak too quickly and without taking my time to formulate my thoughts. This has benefits and negatives, in english I can be very charming and creative, but because I know the language very well. In german, it probably makes me sound like an imbecile.
Not taking proper care of nutrition, eating enough, smoking too much and drinking too much; all I need to be more conscious of and improve upon.

Positive:

I’ve been working ass when it comes to my grades and they have improved tremendously.
I’ve finally got around to creating an actual Workout Program. I don’t work out legs so it’s mostly simply Arms/Shoulders MWF and Back/Chest TT (gym isn’t open on the weekend. I workout abs everyday because they’re the weakest part of my body.
Drank whey protein shake (~30g) after workout. Results seem to be staggering.
I’ve gone to the gym every single day this week and stayed dedicated to my workout plan.
Stepped on the scale today, 156.0lbs, 16.4% body fat, 48.1% muscle mass, 60.4% water mass. I’m 5’7”, so this is really nice. Used to be 22.0% body fat two months ago.
I’ve had laser focus and ambition concerning my workout regimen, my body (nutrition) and my grades and they’re seeming to pay off.
I’ve become more and more comfortable with being alone and focusing on what truly matters (my grades, my fitness and my body). I like the feeling, introspection is enlightening.

Negative

Because of my laser focus, I’ve been completely lacking in the social department.
Asked 3 girls on date, all told me that they would get back to me if they were available. They did not.
Failed a shit test from a really attractive girl, haven’t talked in two days because of it.
Went to a party Friday to support a friend. Was simply a beta male orbiter. Only observed.
Not all bad, I’ve been taking significant charge of my interaction with other guys. Standing my ground, and demanding respect from those around me.

Got out of an LTR of 1.5 years 2 weeks ago. The first week I spent grieving but this last week I've been focussing on things I need to improve.

Started working out. Already seen some improvements after waking up my muscles. Last time I worked out was 4 years ago.

I need to be pickier and remember that emotional investment needs to be a choice, not an occurrence. I also shouldn't even consider a relationship with a girl who lacks many basic adult skills. This LTR was not worth the grief but at least I learned plenty of lessons.

This is my first post, I'm 28 years old, I had one LTR of 3 years and slept with around 15 women, I'm trying to stop being Beta Billy when I feel strong attraction toward woman, I went through some bitter stages in swallowing this pill, started implementing the knowledge then was uncomfortable but successful and then I went back being Beta and realized it was even worse, so I understand that I have to change if I want my life to be as I want it to be.

Positive: - Discovered TRP: Of course, it was because of my issues with girls, oneitis that is - Slowly started with lifting - Organized my job close to perfect, have enough of free time for activities and the money I earn is really decent for the country where I live and is crazy high for the country I came from. So I'm saving 50% of my monthly income even though I'm not disciplined about it all - I have cool friends and 3 flatmates so I'm never really alone and not socially anxious at all - I'm reading a lot of TRP related material, finished handbook and sidebar - I'm on a nofap for 2 weeks now and feel good

Negative: - still have oneitis on some crazy chick with couple of red flags, I know I have to stop it, even she doesn't like me being Beta, realized that after implementing trp into our relationship and it worked like a charm. F**k it, really enjoyed our time tbh. Good thing is - she left the country and maybe it's for good, so I can finally sign it off in my head and focus on myself - My diet sucks, quarter of my meals are junk food but I will start working on that - I drink alcohol socially 3-4 times a week although not getting drunk, will reduce it to once a week - I smoke pack a day, I won't be too harsh to myself because I already made couple of changes so I will cut them a bit later - not going to gym regularly - not having long term goals

steadily working out. Trying to get under 200ls. I was at 202 the other night. I'm 6' and I am dieting/doing 3 day sessions at the gym. 2-2.5 hrs per night(run, squat, mostly upper body work). What I look like so far except I'm bald right now as of last night, 1/8" is short.

Then it goes downhill at the end of the night (can't escape poverty, forever alone.)
