Rules of Marketing:

  1. Make your product look superior than the competition.
  2. Make your competition look inferior to your product.

Self-improvement, growing a sack, and living your dreams is #1. Male feminists are #2.

And yet despite this endless cavalcade of cringeworthy males, feminists will still somehow manage to dismiss MRAs as frustrated fedora wearing virgins.

[–]WorkThrow99 20 points21 points22 points 13 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link

There's a difference between being manly, and being homophobic.

You can accept that other enjoy this, without enjoying it yourself, and without it having any effect on yourself. Just accept that others aren't like you, and move on.

It's not as if it takes anything away from you that other guys get fucked in the ass. Unless you think that "being fucked in the ass" is going to be in fashion and that it'll somehow force you into it. Are your values so weak that you'll have to back down and be forced into it if a lot of people start doing it? Just learn to say no or something. ;-)

Otherwise, I don't understand why it would upset you. (Unless it's one of those "closeted overreaction" thing.)

[+][deleted] -7 points-6 points-5 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There's a difference between being manly, and being homophobic.

The difference is not very big. You see, being penetrated in sex is automatically something submissive. And masculine men are normally not submissive. So if a guy wants to screw guys that is OK but if a guy wants to be screwed... that is not really manly. Note that this is how it was seen historically before Christianity e.g. in Ancient Rome. This is the standard non-religious pagan view: if you are a man, screwed whatever you want to, women, men, or goats who cares... but don't get screwed. Don't be someone else's bitch. That makes you very submissive.

If gay people are being gay, I will fight for their right to being gay. In the same way. If beta want to act beta, I will fight for their right to being beta. It's not something that's for me, and it doesn't remove anything from me, quite the reverse in fact. I don't see them as competition like I don't see gays as competition. What I want is to learn how stuff work, and apply that in my day to day live. If some people are happy being submissive to anyone else, or don't want to seek the truth, I'm not going to try and force feed them. If and when they decide something is wrong, I want to know enough to teach them.

I'm not in a phase where I'm angry that I've been "had" by the system. I wasn't being critical enough. I didn't have the wisdom to step back and question stuff. Without those qualities, I wouldn't be able to understand anything anyway, so it would be moot being spoon fed the red pill. I'm not angry like a little kid, and I don't feel that I have to help people out of the clutches of "the evil womenz". It's not a war, and it's not man against women. It's a system, it's a natural state. You don't get angry at it, you understand it, and you live through it.

People are going to act like people, you can't force them, and it's not my mission to try and rescue them. It's not my responsibility or my job. My responsibilities are to understand, derive values for myself, and uphold them, not "save humanity". I'm not some fucking white knight trying to help "the poor guys" out from the matriarchy in the same way I'm not out to help women out from the patriarchy.

That people like to have thing shoved up their asses is way low on the list of things that are a problem. There's no way people are going to shove things up my ass, because I don't desire it, but that they do, and that they act beta, doesn't worsen my self or my environment.

Besides, at worse, he's taking out from the marketplace people who like to shove things up other's people butt , and that's not a bad thing.

[+]Modredpillschool -12 points-11 points-10 points 13 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

If gay people want other men, I don't really care what they do.

If beta want to act beta, I will fight for their right to being beta.

First off, nobody here says we should take away beta rights.

But on the red pill, fucking right I'm going to shame you for beta traits. MAN THE FUCK UP. Just because they think being beta will score them a girlfriend doesn't make it true. That's why we're here.

Just because they think it'll work doesn't make it true. That also doesn't mean you need to shame people when they are wrong. You can debate with someone who bring this up in a discussion, but shaming is a tactic that's used to force people into different behaviors.

Laughing at them and their tactic is not a problem, explaining to them why you are laughing at them makes sense. But shaming them, and forcing them into a certain way, that's where I start having a problem with it.

From one side, it's stupid, because it means you believe you have all the complete answer, and it's the only way, and that you've stop questioning things, and stopped growing and think you should impose your view on everyone, and also think that everyone having that same view of things is the only way. If it's right, it should be explainable to people, and people will follow by themselves. When you have to coerce people into something, it usually means there's something wrong. (As an example, see feminism and how they are trying to shame people into wrong behaviors.)

From a second perspective, it's stupid because you'll spend a stupid amount of time being angry at people, and fighting people in battles that you don't need to win. So what if people like stuff in their butt? What do you gain if you force someone else to not be gay or not get stuff pushed up their asses? There's a generation out there of guys "doing it wrong", does it make women like them more? No, it doesn't change anything. And if you think it's going to degenerate to a point where you'll have to accept getting things shoved up your ass just to get with a women, then, I'm sorry, as ironic as it may seem, you might not be fully grasping the concept of the red pill. ;-)

(It's about you, yourself, your value, and your limits. Who cares about others limits and way of life! If it comes to pass that in order to be represented in government, you have to put a dildo up your ass, then it'll be a problem, and I'll be right there to contest that. Otherwise, unless you can tell me a way it impacts you, your life, your women, and how things are, I don't see how it's a problem.)

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Because every straight man who acts feminine ends up lowering the bar that much more for the rest of us. Skinny jeans are now considered "stylish" because of all these effeminate fucks. Boys are regularly medicated for having "ADD" when they are just hormone fueled and acting out in a completely natural way. That stupid fucking Bieber haircut is "in." Safety is now more important than fun. No, fuck that, and fuck you too. I will shame any straight man who attempts to insult the already dying institution of healthy masculinity.

[–]WorkThrow99 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

And being "nice" is more in style than anything else. Still doesn't mean it works. Still doesn't mean anything. Are you feeling threatened by fashion? Does a suit goes out of fashion because people wear loose A-Shirt with a washed out california printed on it? No, it doesn't change anything with solid foundations. Fads come and go, but I'm here to learn to see through that bullshit, not be pissed at it. I'm secure enough in my person to not feel threatened by the Bieber phenomenon. People can try and live outside of reality, but not matter how much fluff they put over it they'll still get their asses handed to them.

I don't get how it lowers the bar. You mean they make themselves less desirable, or you mean they easily expose women with low standards? I don't see how those two things are bad. What else is there that's bad?

[–][deleted]2 points 13 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Feminism only exists because men have turned into women with dicks. You honestly want it to keep chewing up our society?

[–]WorkThrow994 points 13 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I honestly think that the problem is being overblown by the magnifying glass of the internet. But, foremost, is honestly and sincerely believe that what they are doing "doesn't work" and isn't in accordance with reality. And, because of that, and because I believe strongly in opposing concepts, I believe that it is unsustainable. I do not believe that a bunch of emasculated guys are going to rule the world, or, somehow become the truly, viscerally desired norm. I believe there currently exist a climate of fear towards guys, and I believe that this climates comes from the bitterness and the anger that comes from guys having been deluded that doing exactly what they are doing was the right thing. I also believe that that fear will follow the archetype portrayed by those guys, because it's those guys who lash out when their frustration builds up.

In a couple of months or years, there's going to be some fear of "the Bieber guys" and you'll find me laughing at them.

No matter how you dress up a guy, women will always have some apprehension about your intentions, because that's how nature works. No matter how you dress it up, when you get down to it, women will respond to who you are, not what you try to be. It doesn't matter if you fuck around dressing in stupid ways just for kicks or not, you can always wear a disguise, but women won't come back with you, or want to be with you, if you aren't solid in your principles and you understanding of how things work.

For lack of better words, it doesn't matter how you dress up an Alpha, women are going to respond to the underlying foundation of an alpha man, and no amount of coating on top will detract from that. When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter if some men are turning into women, women still want to be with men, not maginas.

I believe in this, and if I'm wrong, then I'll become obsolete like the dinosaurs, with my values and mindset, but I wouldn't want to be part of a society who wouldn't have those values. This is the risk I'm willing to take. I have my values, I have my understanding, and I'm putting a line in the sand. If people don't want to be on my side of the line, I won't force them, and I don't need to force them, but this is where I make my stand. These values are solid enough that I don't waver from them just because someone somewhere takes it up the ass from time to time.

[–]Modredpillschool -3 points-2 points-1 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Like the fucking kindergarten teacher who gives everybody a gold star whether they fail or not, what you don't understand is that your attitude makes things worse.

"They don't deserve failure just because they're beta!"

What you're not taking into account is that they will fail because they're beta.

It's called the school of hard knocks. Most of us are here because we had to lose a family, our children, or half our money to learn this lesson. Babying men isn't going to help them learn.

The best way for men to learn to succeed is to challenge them to do so, not coddle them.

It's called disgust.

All respect to gay guys, but this guy isn't even gay. Or he should be. Or he's so beta-submissive that she's gotten this guy to humiliate himself to her sexually.

This really has nothing to do with homophobia. I have the same response to the cuckold fetish.

Either you're genuinely gay, or you're not. It's in the genes. If you're not gay, you shouldn't be getting fucked in the ass.

You know who used to love getting pegged?

Romans.

[–]Old_foundation 8 points9 points10 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Roman sexuality was on a spectrum of active to passive, with men being expected to be the active partner and women being expected to be the passive partner. Effectively what this meant was that, if you were a man, and you were doing the active penetration, you fell within the bounds of pudicitia, or Roman sexual morality, no matter who you were fucking.

Quoted from here

So the Romans didn't really love it too much.

Just lost a lot of respect for you man.

[+]Modredpillschool -9 points-8 points-7 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh no! What will I do?

There's are a lot great reasons to hide submissiveness. Having a desire to be pegged in the ass is the epitome of submissive beta, (and a trait of a gay male).

Now don't get me wrong, I couldn't care less if gay people want to do each other in the butt. And if you ever had respect for me, I'm assuming it's because you've actually read what my stance on gay people are- right? Or was your respect just an obligatory starting place so your public shame would look more scathing?

Because I've said it on multiple occasions: I think gay people are lucky, and found a cheat code to life.

But, if you're a man, and you're into women.. looking gay is bad because we're an entire subreddit dedicated to masculinity to attract women. So I'll state it again. You should hide it because it's GAY AS FUCK.

Being 'pegged' (fucked in the ass with a strap-on for those who haven't heard the term) Is simply and at its most basic level, ceding sexual dominance to your partner.

The basic, step 1, premise of Alpha maleness is dominance. If you are being submissive sexually, you are ceding your masculinity at the most fundamental level.

But yes, who fucking cares if you enjoy pegging. Much the same way as who fucking cares if you buy your special princess flowers, or give her foot rubs, or are a complete beta orbiter. Truthfully, I don't care, I'm to busy fucking her, and yes, I am inserting into her, because I'm a man and that's the role men have in life.

If your goal is to be a red pill alpha male, you must be dominant. You cannot take a rod in the ass and be dominant at the same time

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

As if feminism could have ANY effect on what male attitudes and behavior do women find sexy...

The funny thing is this would be that one thing that could actually work for feminism, and yet this is the one one thing they don't even try to.

I mean a "fuck a nice guy today" movement could actually further the aims of feminism, and yet they never do this.

It is a dilemma and the answer to that is modern feminism is probably more fueled by simple selfishness than actual ideology. If something would further the goals of the ideology but would be kinda icky to do, they won't do it.

So long as that society doesn't need anybody to build anything, defend them from anything, protect anything, or enforce the law on anybody, yeah, men who are basically women are totally valuable to society.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 13 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

in a first-world society, a lot of people don't need to build anything, to defend ourselves, to protect someone, or to enforce the law. they can get by just fine having other people whose jobs it is to do these things do those things for them.

this isn't sparta, this isn't uganda. a normal person isn't going to be in any danger most days of his life. this kid might be great at art, or a fantastic mathematician and engineer. he has worth beyond being "manly" to society.

finally, gay men who are more effeminate than your average man are basically just women then?

i think that masculinity is a great quality for any man to have, but your response is the kid's exact point in making that sign. why does he have to be "manly" for people to think he's a man if that's not who he is or wants to be?

You're right that men lack a positive identity in our culture, largely due to masculine qualities being widely unnecessary.. I recommend reading Jack Donovan's The way of men if you're interested in the subject.

But if you think an artsy man has worth in our society, you'd be wrong. Feminist thinking, which is more and more pervasive today, basically says.. "hey what do we need men for? Nothing!"

And that's that.

If you don't embrace masculinity and manliness, you are neither useful to society, nor are you useful to women who want sex. You're useless.

redpill school it seems that youve taken the red pill to the point in which you are actually male hamstering. I mean this in this best way possible, I hope you can take a step or two back to analyze the functions of your thought patterns currently.

[–]Modredpillschool 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Ah yes, I see what you mean, right there in your counterpoint.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

it was just a well meaning comment! I can be more specific if you'd like my view on it, although some will get upset by these types of things!

Your dichotomy suggests that female validation determines our worth to an absurd degree. Mostly this is true, agreed upon red pill theory but to suggest it goes so far as to not even try? Much of what society is based on denies stereotypical masculinity What exactly is masculinity?

We as males define it, why are we letting the females define what is, and what is not masculine? I am an artist, a musician, an athlete, a write, and a man. I am more then the sum of my parts. All the things that make me myself, add value to society even if they are not traditionally masculine, they add to my masculine polarity. Be positive dominant not negative dominant.

[–]Modredpillschool 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well there's two values we're talking about. Internally, I have the highest value in my life, and I take part in activities I value.

The question is whether or not society sees value in somebody like me. I would argue they do not.

You really should've read the rest of the thread.

I have read the rest of the thread actually but thank you.

My point is that regardless of whether society rewards us or the actions we take there are many we should be doing anyway. "that", is what being a man is and defines us exasperated from the immature women, and from lesser men.

should

You use this word.

[–][deleted]1 point 13 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

yes, but the imperative doesnt come from any blue pill feminism source, its comes from the drive of oour natural masculinity and polarity. Man wasnt meant to scrounge around and scavange, we are glorious in our full magnitude.

Just as we ignore and defeat the call of the female machine, we should answer the call of our masculine heritage, lets not get stuck in the middle because it allows us to be the most hateful and negative.

much love man, I was on this subreddit when there was less then 50 of us, so keep rocking on.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

i feel like this has become a "art vs science" debate in which people argue whether or not art has any value in society. i'm not getting into that, it's been done to death, but you did just say that an artsy man has no worth in our society. so the people who make the films you watch, the music you listen to, and design and draw all the things that make your life and daily errands an aesthetic and visual place to be are useless.

i guess this is just a matter of opinion. i think the best men are the masculine men as the best women are the most feminine, but there should be no requirements and pressure for a man to act manly if that's not who he wants to be.

please, manliness is mostly an attitude now. there are no feats or rites of passage that men need to go through in the modern world. you're deluding yourself to the point of a circlejerk if you think acting manly makes you useful to society. it'll make you more attractive to women definitely, but what good does the manly office worker do to society that the more meek and effeminate co-worker doesn't provide if they do the same job?

in an emergency, in the face of hazard and danger, yes, the masculine man is much better than the emasculated one. but how often do normal blue-collar people face danger?

[–]Modredpillschool -3 points-2 points-1 points 13 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Well we advocate internal value and the attitude of manliness... but what value does society see from me?

I hardly contribute to the economy, finding it unnecessary to earn more money than what I need to take care of me, because I no longer see a future with a family.

I hardly contribute to community because I see beta traits as an easy way to be taken advantage of. I don't go out of my way for anybody but myself.

I do nothing to help defend our country because the "honor" and "value" is meaningless. Women will steal your money and trash your house when you're overseas, the country won't pay for your medical bills, and your taxes continue to father children you never had.

I am a selfish consumer that does little to nothing for anybody or country because there is zero reward for traditionally male activities.

Sure there's "value" for society in men being blue pill, but by that they mean they need somebody to foot the bill for feminist lawmaking, and funding children of the state.

There are very few who actually hold value because of art, even fewer who do so successfully.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

yeah, anyway, my whole point was that a man who has no desire to be manly should have his choices respected and shouldn't be looked down upon. and that he can still be a valuable member of society.

but we definitely both agree that he himself won't be respected as a man unless he embraces his masculinity. masculinity always > emasculation.

[–]Modredpillschool -3 points-2 points-1 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't respect it. Respect is earned. If he wants his choices respected, he'll have to make better choices.

Women will feel the exact same way.

What's better, lying to him and saying "hey people should respect your choice! You have free will! You're a special snowflake!"

or saying "Listen, here's the cold hard truth, you can decide not to be manly, but expect for nobody to like you. Enjoy!"

?

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

i guess this is where our perceptions differ. we don't have to respect him as a person but we shouldn't have any criticisms for his choice.

should i tell a big black man who's wanted to be a woman his whole life not to get the surgery because he'll never be seen as a pretty girl with value? it makes sense from one perspective, he'd make a better man than a woman, just as the guy would be better at being masculine than not because he is a man.

but should he change who he is so other people can think better of him? if he doesn't want to, i don't think he should have to.

[–]Modredpillschool -1 points0 points1 point 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If his choice is to not have sex and remain celibate, then I don't criticise him.

But if he thinks his path will lead to success with women, then criticism a plenty.

but should he change who he is so other people can think better of him? if he doesn't want to, i don't think he should have to.

If he wants their respect, yes, he should. If he doesn't, then he doesn't have to. It's his choice.

Lots of gay guys don't want to be manly

[–][deleted] 16 points17 points18 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Some of us are anyway. But we still don't need fucking feminism for anything other than punchlines.

[–]shamanbard 5 points6 points7 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I honestly mean no disrespect if you're gay, I appreciate that you're here. But if the dude in the pic claims to like vag, he's never going to get any. Dude's straight up lame if he doesn't want to be manly, and would be somebody's bitch after 10 minutes in a county lockup.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Hey, none taken. A lot of gay guys feel the same way - if we wanted something soft and submissive, we'd fuck women instead.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Certainly not First World women.

[–]DavidTIntellectual 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Then it should read "I need LGBT acceptance", that has nothing to do with feminism.

[–]Soldus 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You're stupid.

[–]shamanbard 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You're projecting.

[–]Facha669 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This guy...

[–]iggybdawg 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

you dunno, maybe he also doesn't want sex with women. ..

[–]5HydroxymethylC 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Then I pity him even more. He's not likely to be any more successful with gay dudes...

[–]pidginduck 6 points7 points8 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm not too sure about that... he would be what they call a "bottom".

[–]5HydroxymethylC 14 points15 points16 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The most sexually bottomy guy I ever dated was someone who you might have assumed was alpha meeting him on the street.

Gay male sexual dynamics are complex. But even with the complexities of top/bottom/butch/femme coexisting in the same person, nobody wants a doormat.

[–]HalfysReddit 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If you don't want to be "manly", don't act "manly". You don't require societies approval for that.

[–]pjcelis 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I need feminism to understand why women's suffrage was a bad idea.

[–]WorkThrow99 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I need feminism because I'm tired of women being shamed into not enjoying my dick.
