Many threads have appeared on redpill recently centred on the question of attractiveness. This has been split into two camps, the "attitude is everything" camp and the "genetics are everything" camp. This has created a false dichotomy where users have engaged in fierce debate for no real purpose. Both of these absolutist arguments are equally wrong.

Their perspectives stem from ego protection. Those who believe that genetics are everything do not wish to admit their failures and seek to blame an external factor. On the other hand those who believe that attitude is everything want to think that no one can be more attractive than them, since anyone can have a good attitude.

The truth is that both of these effect attractiveness and are parts of separate categories affecting it. Attractiveness can be thought of as a component of fixed and flexible qualities. Fixed being that which cannot be changed, and flexible that which can be changed. Fixed attractiveness + Flexible attractiveness = Total attractiveness

The redpill can be thought of as a strategy of maximising one's flexible attractiveness through such activities as lifting and changing social behaviours. It is good to improve these but many users forget that not everything can be changed. Naturally unchangeable factors such as height do not get discussed much for obvious reasons.

Therefore I thought it would be a good idea to make a list of factors which affect attractiveness. Please remember that many of us were incredibly naive bluepillers once so this list is genuinely necessary for some of our new subscribers

The list is not exhaustive so suggestions welcome.

Fixed Qualities(some of these can be changed with cosmetic surgery but this is out of reach for most people)

Height - Taller is better

Penis size - Longer and thicker is better

Facial Features - Handsome, masculine, symmetrical is better

Body structure - Wide shoulders, narrow hips, proportionate limbs are better

Health - Able bodied better than disabled, clean bill of sexual health better than an std, particularly incurable ones

Skin Colour - In many cultures darker skin is stigmatized, prejudice becomes more likely the darker it is and this includes attractiveness ratings. For instance in India the caste system approximately corresponds with skin colour. Although less common lighter skin is stigmatized in some places such as South Africa. In Western countries the ideal is usually "Medium tanned white person"

Flexible Qualities Fitness - fitter is better

Weight - Lean and muscular better than fat

Attitude - Holding frame and being alpha and outcome independent is better than being beta

Career - Higher status and higher paying jobs are better

Social Status - The more status and the more valuable the social network the better

Hobbies - Interesting is better, don't expect anyone to be attracted to a "weed and vidya" lifestyle

Hygiene - Wash every day, keep nails short, remember to brush your teeth. Neglecting this can make even the most attractive man into a shitty smelling rotten toothed loser

Voice - Deeper is better. Some accents are received positively and others negatively. Women tend to like foreign accents more than men. Stuttering is bad, poor enunciation is bad, speaking too quietly is bad.

Style - Wear clothes that fit well and dress appropriately for the occasion. Overdressing and underdressing are both bad depending on the context. Stay away from neckbeard stuff like video game graphic tshirts, fedoras, "matrix" longcoats etc
