A big part of this is women don't even know the difference between attraction and agitation. The feelings are physiologically identical, and women attach different emotional and mental labels to the feelings based on their cycle and what's going on around them at the time, and so on.

Men don't have "cycles" as our hormones are on full blast all the time. So we are familiar with the feelings. They can make us extremely uncomfortable, but we know what is happening, and we know how to resolve those feelings.

With women, with their monthly cycles, they don't attach reliable emotional and mental imagery and labels to their physiological signs, so they don't know what's going on much of the time.

This also explains why women choose the 2 different guys in the post, for 2 different purposes.

Hey guys, maybe someone here has some insight, because at this point I feel extremely lost, and its really starting to affect my mental health in way.

Despite reading TRP, internalizing the concepts, I still have this innate desire for a LTR. Every time I get burned on the way. Either friendzone, or I mess around with the girl and get really fucking bored of her. In general I have such a disdain for women that I rarely want to interact with them, but I still want sex.

Oh, Jesus. You should avoid this for your own sake. It's probably worse in my situation, but I find that there's a lot of potential for drama in these sorts of scenarios. I had an incident where I should have gotten red flags that the guy I was flirting with was in a relationship of some kind. Super vague and nebulous about what he was looking for. Had a large house all to himself? Didn't want to park his car in the garage and asked me to park on the street.

Should have known.

Lo and behold, his partner comes home while I'm fucking him. Partner is a big, nasty guy and very clearly intended to hold me accountable despite this slut totally deceiving me and being absolutely responsible for what happened.

I don't know what his intentions were, but I do know he was coming closer to me and looked aggressive. Fortunately, I had my sidearm with me and it was within reach. He calmed down very quickly when he saw it and I made it very clear that I didn't want to be there and just wanted to collect my things and leave.

But it was very dicey. And it's also very dicey to have to brandish your firearm on someone when you're in their home, even if you were invited in by someone who lives there. Fortunately I never heard from them again.

I practice extreme vetting now before going to someone else's place.
