TL;DR

Healthy masturbation involves getting in tune with your body's sexual and good feelings without the need of fantasy or pornographic visuals. Begin associating your sexual needs to needing to be with being good to yourself or some women as opposed to grabbing your phone or browsing in secrecy on your computer.

EDIT

Don't pursue women, let them come to you- you say? You still need to make an initiative to have a conversation, establish rep, build kino, escalate, and etc. Those are pursuits. You still need to have that sexually charged energy to act with intent. Yes, RP is about making yourself the prize but if you're not making yourself available, there's no prize to be had either.

Stop blaming technology and start blaming yourself.

I establish in this report that this is a matter of discipline

Not everyone struggles with this

Good for you. For those who do struggle with the things in this report, reflect and consider.

I need my phone for [insert work]

Again if this isn't a disciplinary area for you, move along. For recovering BP like myself, I do check my phone too often. I do look at pornographic content more than I actually jerk off. This realization has really stuck with me to the point where it has become a priority to pull back on these habits and not a conscious thought.

Counter-philosophy leading to solution

There is no such thing as fake life, the computer and cellphone got me more pussy than I would of ever gotten without them in fact I would probably be a virgin without them.

Tools , Tools, these are tools, use your tools effectively.

This subscriber has a point: If your established dependency is immediate sexual release, you are using these tools incorrectly.

What the fuck, lol (comments imply I do this AND I got PM'd)

I read your post on our relationship with our phones and computers. Am I to understand you actually jizz on the screen? If so.. then you are the last person who should be giving advice in this arena because you are mentally ill.

I don't know exactly how you managed to pull this out of your asses but I laughed my ass off. No I don't jizz on my screen. I've used my computer to watch porn or cam sluts. Since you care so much, I have jizzed in the following places: girl's ass, girl's tits, girl's face, girl's mouth (they love it when you don't warn them) , girl's back, a sock, into toilet paper, into a toilet, into a towel, on a wall (cock faced the wall when ex gf jerked me off).

Report

I reached for my phone or the umpteenth time today at work. I'm tired, bored, and looking for a distraction. I whip up some pussy shots on my phone. I keep telling myself I need to reset and cut out masturbation but since exercising my libido is coming back slowly since my last LTR. I realize something: I have a bond with my phone. It's always on me. I go to it for sexual release and not just using it as a tool. When you masturbate, Oxytocin (bonding hormone) shoots straight to your brain. This bonds people during sexual intercourse but I'm bonding myself to images on my phone, the secrecy of my bedroom (or discreteness of my desk), and the distraction. I'm always checking it. I'm, by definition, addicted to my phone and visual sexual stimulation.

I've had a few hookups and most of them end in disappointment and ED. With LTR, I could get hard no problem. I haven't intentionally objectified women because my release is on a screen or I have a comfort and emotional bond with my LTR. As a young healthy male, I should be ready to go at the sight of real tits but I've seen so many on my screen I believe I am no longer aroused. I'm disassociated with reality and I bend to emotions to make my sexual relationships thriving.

The act of disassociation can go further into normal social settings. We look at our screens on tv, computers, distract ourselves with music in car rides, and don't experience the now. I cannot remember the last time I felt emotion from someone. I tend to say to myself "people bore me". Just yesterday I was with a group of new people- all with their own stories and experiences and yet I was completely unamused. Is life really that boring? No! I'm consuming so much online (facebook, reddit, ... ) and diverting my attention away from the present that I don't enjoy the realness and chaos of natural human interaction either.

The theme of the Red Pill is to unplug. Unplug from the disassociation and wake up and be a part of the world who really live in it and take advantage of life.

If any of this sounds familiar to you, do your body a favor and get in tune with your body. Even in the bedroom. The book "No More Mr. Nice Guy" touches on this topic.

If you're in the software business this is going to take a metric shit ton of discipline. You have a screen in front of you for 8 hours a day minimum. Learn to restrict yourself. There's nothing new on the internet that can't wait until the weekend.
