She's a little different than our usual train-wrecks in that she's not asking, "Where are all the good men?" after years of chasing bad boys. She admits to the years of chasing bad boys, but now that she's finally realized that's stupid she now realizes that she doesn't really want a good man, either.

She wants a bad boy who is also a good man, because she is addicted to how bad boys make her feel, while the (slightly) more rational part of her brain is telling her to act like an adult in an adult relationship.

But what do I know? After all, I'm just another neckbeard-loser-virgin-incel... not a guy who's been in a happy marriage for 34 years, right?

The comments below break this down pretty nicely, but I want to add a further facet:

A proper, feminine woman would be able to commit without regard to "The tinglies" because submission WAS the "tinglies". "Chores" are what love is about. Consider this guy putting up with her nonsense. He's really the "woman" in this relationship: He's being emotionally supportive and putting aside his own needs to help her feel better. The man who brings home the bacon is expecting a quiet household with the kids lined up to kiss him, the wife smiling with dinner ready to be served, and she's ready to listen to HIS day and be an unpaid therapist.

It is admirable she's considering dumping him rather than using him as a tampon before she tries to get back on the bad-boy carousel.

But the point of her soliloquy isn't that she's missing sparks but rather she doesn't have the basic notion of what it takes to PROVIDE something of value to a relationship for a man. That she doesn't want to do "chores". That she can't PROVIDE her own happiness from the resources around her.

I'm reminded of the line from Pei Mei in Kill Bill: All she's good at doing is spending a man's money ordering food in restaurants.
