Bald nurse here. I’ve come to realize people love to be inherently careless to those involved with charitable services, but I never take it personal because they’re just damn stupid, finding my choice to shave as taboo. I treat them like children in a matter-of-fact response each time.

Them: “Can I rub your head?” Me: “It’s a no, unless you’re ready to rub the other one, too.”

T: “Why’s your head so shiny? Do you shave your head EVERY DAY?” M: “How come you’re in my ER bed right now missing the point?” OR “That’s a great opener for the guy with the needle in hand.”

The only power shit tests, insults, etc. will ever have is the power YOU bestow to it. The way you carry yourself will bring more respect than any of the above comebacks ever will. I win usually because I don’t care. Because my hair is meaningless, and I look best this way, especially while getting laid out daily by the love of my life. :)

I went bald incredibly early, at around 15/16, and finally took the plunge and shaved it at 17. In the years since I did, I haven't really got shit for it by either women or men. I also found that women tend to like a guy with a shaved head, especially if you grow a beard to balance it out.

Look up MinoxBeard on reddit and the Minoxidil Beard Spot on Facebook. All the information for using minoxidil (rogaine/regain) to grow a beard. I’m going bald and had 0 facial hair but minoxidil made me grow basically a full beard. I kinda love being basically bald now.

If people sense that you love being bald regardless of their negative or positive comments, they will surprisingly start to dig the baldness. Own who you are.

I started balding at 18 and didn't start fin until 23 by that time i still had about 80% coverage. It's been 3 years and I've kept what I had. Pretty sure i'd be bald by now if I did nothing.

By 26 you’ll have gotten thru so many shit tests that you’ll be used it and won’t be insecure about it. A bald man never ages.

There’s also a niche for the girls that go for bald dudes. Watch what they do not what they say.

You can’t excel with your hair, now you have the opportunity to explore excelling other areas in your life. Lift and get huge/toned. The more testosterone you have the more your beard will fill in. You might not have it at 24 but at 28 it’ll be a different story.

Have a goal in your mind every day and build brick by brick until 5 years go by and you’re proud of what you’ve accomplished.

Nobody calls out Jason Statham, or the Rock, or plenty of other attractive men who are bald and have tons of frame. So you obviously either don’t have a lot of muscle, don’t have your fashion on point, you give off a pussy vibe, or you care too much about what people think of you.

Was just about to post something similar. Bald (and better for it). Have a thin side burn to beard and thick goatie. Without facial hair you look like you have cancer. I want to thicken the face/cheek hair which will no doubt will improve the look. From researching thid estosterone is key and although i lift everyday including the big ones (squats, presses etc) it aint happening. I am using a dermatology rollet 0.5 per week plus menoxodil and it is working but slow progress. I want the viking beard quick. Would testosterone trestment work?

There is no test here.

It is just teasing, nothing more. No one is "testing" you.

Frame means "controlled context and confidence". In other words,...Who is in control of the context and how confident are they about it. This has nothing to do with guys teasing a bald guy. They are not teasing you for any top secret purpose other than they enjoy doing it,...it is fun for them. It reminds them they have something you don't,...hair,...and it makes them feel good.

Some men look great bald. I started losing my hair at 18. By 25 I was completely bald. I have been shaving my head ever since. Own it up, it’s out of your control, so there is nothing you can do to grow it back. People will give you shit just because they don’t have anything else to pick on. I shaved my head to the bone with an electric razor this summer just to see what it’d be like since I’ll need to do it in about a year or two... and the first time I was out at starbucks I had ioi’s from 2 girls, and I didn’t really get many back then cause i was still chubby.
