Here is the only thing you need to know:

Where you are on the 1-10 scale in terms of physical attractiveness is your indication of how much you need to work in order to get laid.

The science you need to live by:

If you're a 1, you're going to have to be one of those guys who constantly read motivational articles and apply strategies in order to get that one girl who will be excited to sleep with you for every 500 girls you talk to.
If you're a 5, you can get laid tomorrow as long as you cast a wide net and talk to enough girls.
If you're a 10, you'd be fucking women left and right.

The one caveat that you need to be aware of:

You need to have your shit in order. That means no camo shorts, no ugly haircut, no lack of a social life, no lack of interests, no awkward social behavior, no dirty or disgusting apartment, no excess weight, no body odor, no lack of direction/plan when it comes to what you want to get out of a situation and so on. In other words, you need to be a normal, functioning human being before a woman will even consider fucking you, and that applies to every guy who is below 8-10.

The takeaway for you:

Most likely you're around 5 on the scale, which is what most guys are. However, like most guys you're probably failing to meet the basic requirements that I listed above. Either you dress ugly, or you're weird, or you don't have a social life or you do something else that turn women off. Maybe you suck talking to over text? Maybe you're fat? Maybe you have an ugly face and don't know how to groom yourself and take good photos to compensate for that? Maybe you're a fucking slob? Or maybe you're boring? Maybe you don't know how to have fun at all?

If you think I'm right about this, then forget about women completely and start taking care of yourself. Learn what it means to be a functioning, decent-looking and happy adult with normal social skills. Read a lot. Not just Red Pill-stuff, but articles and information from all sides and perspectives (and take it all with a grain of salt). Once that is in order (and again, assuming that you're a 4-5 or better) you should be able to get a ton of dates as long as you swipe right enough.

TL;DR: You don't need to be attractive to get laid. You just need to be NORMAL AND NON-UNATTRACTIVE and talk to a lot of women simultaneously.

P.S. You're only 20. You're still young. These things take time to figure out if you're an average man. You're not the only man not getting laid at your age, and you're not going to find immediate gratification here. Focus on figuring this stuff out and you'll be having a lot of sex eventually, but you have to be willing to work for it first. Just like all the average men that came before you.

Don't text. Texting is for logistics only. On tinder, only your looks matter. You need appropriate pictures. One in which you are actively doing something (whatever your hobby is. best is some sport), one in which you are having fun in a group and the group has lots of girls in it, like one of these party shots and a professional one.

Kick the desperation and STOP CARING. You've gotta let go of the desperation if you want to attract anyone. Additionally, keep tweaking your tinder profile-- if the fish don't bite, sometimes you need a new rod and reel. Increase your match radius, change some pictures, edit your bio, and always start a conversation with your matches even if she doesn't look as great as you originally thought she did. With experience comes knowledge, and you're not going to attract anyone if you don't start somewhere. Max out your swipes each day so you can start having conversations with women, even if you don't want to meet up.
