Are the pickup gurus getting rejected frequently still?

Nobody is batting 1000. The pickup gurus are definitely still getting blown out. I've met two guys who have large youtube channels and saw them in action. I won't say who they are. But yes, they get blown out. The difference is they don't let it discourage them or affect their emotional state on the next set.

They expect rejection in high numbers and a big part of coaching is how to get around it. It’s part of the whole process.

RSD was famous for posting their blowouts. Compilations of blowouts, sometimes. Blowouts are part of the game. It's like getting bad hands in poker. Unavoidable unless youre cheating.

They get rejected frequently. They certainly get rejected much more than average people, although their percentage might be a bit higher. The difference between a guru and a noob is that the guru has more attempts. I went to a seminar with an old school one, they ended the seminar with footage of "a bad night out" dude got blown out maybe a dozen times, but still closed at the end.

Been a dating coach for 17 years, been doing pickup for 21 years (although just got married last week)

Of COURSE I still get rejected! Or I get women turning me down for sex on a date etc.

The three things that really change when you get really good though are:

1) you get really good at picking women to talk to - if I get to pick my own women all nightz my success rate is really quite stellar. I know who's likely to want to be with me. But if someone else were to choose for me, I'd have a success rate dropoff for sure. But since people just watch me approaching for myself, I look like a hero.

2) You get very good at capitalising on all your opportunities.. so most guys have opportunities with women, but end up fumbling them. Id say that I rarely drop a real opportunity. So rather than saying I'm 20x better attracting women, you'd be better off thinking that I'm 20x less likely to screw things up (I'm inventing that number just to make a point)

3) You become more willing to walk away from hot women - this means that I walk away from a hot woman because shes not right for me long before she rejects me for not being right for her. This greatly reduces my perceived blow out rate .

If I remember correctly, Mystery said he was only successful on about 3 of every 10 approaches, which is Hall of Fame stats in baseball.

they get rejected about as much as anyone here. But they can cherry pick their good infields and post them as if that's how every approach goes

Some coaches used to actually be brave enough to 'stream' uncut, continuous infields (simplepickup, RSDMax done it once, evolutiondaily and a few others). What it showed was that if they appraoch a girl who isn't attracted, his 'game' is useless. None of the coaches can literally force a girl to be attracted. ONly people who claim this mystical skill are random guys who don't have infield (which is like someone claiming to be able to run the 100m in less tan 9 seconds buy they don't have it on tape lol)

I've also been out in person with quite a few London coaches now, and i've never been impressed. Not that they were super bad or anything. F ar from it. They all came across confident, in fact. But I Never seen ANYTHING that amazed me. They got numbers, only from girls who were very receptive to the open and got rejected fro girls who clearly weren't into them when they first said 'hi'. You likely know everything that they know (in terms of what to say. techniques like pushpull etc. ''game''). They all get the results i'd expect, more or less, from just looking at them

It's really about volume. It's a numbers game.

With Guys with good game, the difference is taht they can close the girls who are attracted at a very high rate. e.g they do'nt 'fumble' as much as someone without 'game'

They get rejected just as much as anyone else. However they approach so much that they increase the odds of approaching a girl who is attracted to him - But of course when they open a girl who doesn't think he's hot, then it will be a rejection. He will try pushpull etc ('attraction material' )but it just delays the rejection

Definitely 1000%. A lot of these "gurus" really don't have skill. They're just hitting massive numbers. Especially in Daygame.

I watched about twenty videos of a legendary PUA’s approaches and maybe, if I was a bit liquored up, I might have found one attractive enough to approach.

I thought if this is what he thinks is impressive proof of his skill, what must those be like that didn’t make the videos.

My guess is that 90% of the reputations of the lot of them is based on scooping up low-hanging fruit.

Yeah, I know there are those who vouch for these guys, but what are their standards?

No gurus don't get rejected a lot, they have cold approach work for them and they get pussy (the better gurus). That is why they are gurus.
