Why would it be weird? I wish I had a good role model who'd teach me seduction when I was younger and explained how social dynamics work. It'd save me years of suffering.

Absolutely not, the manosphere gets a lot of hate from people who claim that men should "naturally" be good with women and the material teaches men to manipulate or use gimmicks to meet women. I couldn't disagree more, I was the perfect example of not being naturally good with women, I always had good communication skills but lacked the confidence and know how to start relationships with the opposite sex. If you have the money and you need direction there's nothing wrong with paying an expert to help, it should be encouraged in my opinion.

Not weird at all, a lot of us needed pointers when we were younger. If you didn't have someone already in your life who could give you good, actionable advice when you needed it, paying for a coach or mentor is the logical step.

People pay lots of money for career skills coaching or degrees that they never use, why would it be weird to pay someone to help you get a handle on your social skills? It's not much different except that you've gotta use social skills every single day of your life.

I did one of those weeklong Art of Charm bootcamps like a decade ago when Jordan was still working with the team. Best week of my life, skyrocketed my confidence, turned my dating success up, came home and realized how shit my job was so I started applying around and got a better one within a month, etc. Still have two buddies from that program and we keep each other reasonably accountable in between all the unhinged bullshit we send to each other.

Still use a bunch of those lessons to this day.

I’m a coach and I am coaching even my 10 year old nephew things that even i should have known at that age to be a cooler guy in school.

Things like: Witty comebacks, resilience when things don’t go his way and tricks to save face and his dignity, confidence tipa and steps to eliminate any anxiety or fear, and teaching what mistakes to avoid like confessing or friendzoning himself, and instead showing him how to flirt, be bold, provocative, and daring.

So far he is doing really well.

I think to get benefit from it, you'd need have an extremely low beginning point in the first place. Real issues with maybe autism and general social skills etc. So that 'learning' to smile when someone says something humerous and stuff would be something you didn't know kind of thing. A bit like a 'coach' on how to make friends, maybe?

But other than that, for a 'normal' person, it'd be a terrible waste of money! You'd not learn anything to give you an 'edge' over 99% of men. These "dating coaches" get rejected just as much as any other guy, don't forget, and don't do anything special at all. They walk up too a girl, shoot their shot, and IF she is attracted to him, it might lead too a number or a lay. Same as any normally socialised guy

Like PT they are good ones and there are bad ones who are just looking for quick money and are copying from the good ones. Meaning they don't understand what they are doing just say use this technique and then boom.

No it's worth it 100%. Just make sure you're learning from someone who actually knows the game. There's no "government regulatory board" to make sure someone selling dating coaching is actually competent at what they're doing. Consequently you'll find a lot of scammers selling this stuff.

Look for testimonials and make sure the guy you're hiring has gotten the types of girls you want before putting money down.

I'm not to big on them. I followed Sarah Dawn Moore for a while but it turned out she was plagiarising from other content creators such as "mynonleatherlife". She also seemed to be lying about her coaching experience, claiming she had 10 years when she had basically none. You can read her facebook reviews and see how negative they are. Now she has shifted into investing under Sarah Dawn Investing, and she teaches quite questionable approaches to investing, which essentially just boil down to "go all in", "take big risks". Seems to be just another grift.
