You're not supposed to let them lead the conversation. If a girl on bumble opens with hey or some variation of it, you basically just ignore it and use your normal opener you'd use on any other app where you open first.

My go-to is "heyy what's happening NAME? Love your smile, you've got a great vibe ✌️". I always get a positive reaction from that one and after they respond, I usually ask them how their week/weekend is going (unless there's something specific in their profile I'm curious about) and then continue the conversation from there for a bit before asking them out on a date.

Pro tip: The purpose for texting a girl is to set up dates and that’s it. Not entertain her or get to know her or see how she’s doing and no “good morning beautiful.” NO. It destroys the purpose of meeting up. She will always be hoping & willing to let you take the initiative to meet up. So if she doesn’t want to then you have other girls. The meetup should happen no less than 7 days from the first time you talked to her & if she still doesn’t want to then that means you messed up somewhere in your attraction phase either by not generating enough interest, coming off too strong, not arousing her enough etc. so what you’ve lost her in the beginning and you’ve got to cut your losses. There’s a lot of girls everywhere. Other than that most girls cooperate pretty well.

You need to plan the meetup in great detail. Set up a free day for the meetup with no plans or responsibilities that particular day and have everything mapped out. Time management, what you’re gonna wear, logistics everything. (Now personally if she flakes on me or is late 10 mins I’m done with her and game is over. No excuses or reasons.)

Now about your question: Be playful with her, banter, teasing, pull more than pushing, light humor and be mysterious, build a lot of sexual tension.

Nothing. Most of these women are just bored and looking to be entertained. You’re not a potential dude to them. You’re a monkey that’s supposed to dance around and distract them for a little bit.

Let them go be bored somewhere else and only talk to the women that are showing legit interest.

What worked for me is calling them out. Are you as boring inperson ? They either get triggered or apologize and say they are different inperson

My somewhat contrarian, but effective, advice is not to engage in text conversation at all. Simply ask her out on a date. See my post in this subreddit for more detail. As u/daring_innovator says in his comment here, the purpose of texting is to get her on a date. So just be straightforward and ask her on a date. She'll probably respond positively because she matched with you.

Then she’ll say “how r u?”

Then you say “Pretty good, just got done with ___. It was fun/annoying. You?”

That will trigger her small talk ick if she was fishing for pickup lines and you can be on your way.

Learn to have fun with whatever ur saying. It's about ur comfort. Obviously don't be stupid but have fun. U have to learn ur boundaries before anything. Sometimes stupid remarks help sometimes they are horrible. It really all depends but u have to calibrate.

Not even one is the same and hey is the best line ever. But it takes a lot. Just remember if they responded ur more than half way through the battle. Now just be urself and have fun. Be engaging and interesting learn to empathize and talk a out things u have passion for.

Honestly just don’t bother. The juice is not worth the squeeze if they’re already acting disinterested off the bat. I could never imagine seriously wanting to date and impress someone and then being that uninteresting on a dating app. I’d say she’s just looking for compliments or is bored and feels like going out/no one else to hang with. I’ll admit that ages ago on a dating site before tinder, I’d sometimes agree to go out with guys because I was bored, not because their profile seemed that interesting. And usually it was just one or two dates of nothing, because there’s no interest. So don’t waste your time.
