One guy is putting himself out there and saying something that MIGHT have a bad reaction but it’s funny and a lot of people make jokes like that about people who they like/feel comfortable with. Most of the time, this type of behavior is way safer amongst GUYS rather between a guy and a girl (especially in front of others). Because men are dumb (and also because they think being nice but not genuine is going to get them somewhere, they think that instead of being honest they’ll decide (wow that jacket is too bright and that color is heinous, better tell her it’s cool and she looks good in it) rather than potentially risking saying a joke and offending) He’s afraid to roast you because you have a pussy. It might fuck it up for him. You could take it the wrong way and never talk to us again so we choose the boring, safe route.
This type of constant complimenting makes the most women bored, and the compliments start to mean less, they’re very general anyway, and eventually they’re meaningless and most women think right away like “cool thanks I’m not gonna fuck you bro”… and how BORING and DESPERATE does this make MOST guys seem? That’s because the guy listens to your advice and forgets to treat you JUST LIKE THE NEW GUY AT THE OFFICE.

I try to be pretty for me and for only me not a man. The make up I wear because it makes me feel good, the perfume I wear because I like to smell nice and the clothes I wear is because I feel comfortable in them. Not for a man never for a man.

Although nothing is wrong with calling someone cute or beautiful, I hear that it gets pretty boring and tedious to hear, especially for a girl who maybe constantly hears it. So I wanted to update my vocabulary, and add more words that can invoke some emotions or flattery.
Focusing on conversation skills has more utility than trying to figure out a special word / compliment to give someone.
For a compliment to land, it needs to be more than a one-word adjective. It needs to be something with some insight into who the person is for it to really mean something and be worth saying. Which means you either have to be really observant or know the person well.
All of which means conversation skills generally come first because that's how you start to connect with someone and get to know them.

The best compliments are the ones that show that you truly notice her. For example, if her hair smells nice it means she just washed it. So you compliment her hair. If her nails are freshly painted you compliment her for being so “put together”, even if it means putting other types of girls down.
